Interaction with guests
I live with my family in the same building, so the handing of the keys is really easy. Me and my husband German are more than happy to help with any questions or problems that might occur.
The Parkway-area is one of the most trendy places in Bogotá, but it is also a child friendly area. It offers a great selection of bars, cafes,book-shops, small gift-shop boutiques and theatres to see good quality colombian theatre and cabaret. The closest supermarket, Carulla is on the Parkway and there are plenty other smaller local stores.
There is a good selection of restaurants: pizzerias, colombian, mexican and peruvian food etc. The restaurant Creps & Waffles is a great place for late breakfast, desserts and they also make fresh ice-cream.
There are couple of great bars for live music, like the jazz-bar Trementina on Parkway. In the Theatre Casa E you have also live music and dj´s for dancing salsa in the weekends, Cafe Libro is another famous salsa dancing place, just around the corner. For other type of dancing there is a place called Asylum on Caracas, 4 blocks away. This location is close by to Chapinero, where you have many other nightlife- and cultural venues.
On sundays there is a ciclo- via on Parkway, which basicly means that they close part of the road for people to drive bycicle, walk or skate. A great activity for kids and to enjoy the friendly neighbourhood feeling.
The public transport Transmilenio busses are really close by. The closest is four blocks away in Caracas Avenue. The blue SITP busses, are part of the Transmilenio system and they pass by the house on the carrera 19. We can provide you with a buss card for Transmilenio.
You can order taxi by phone or internet apps.
