Other Things to Note
As an independent business owner in the heart of our quirky City and as a smitten longtime resident of Tacoma, I can offer a unique perspective of our beloved and often misunderstood "Gritty City"
and I know where all the really swell things things are and delight in discovering the new offerings too!
Comfortable user friendly home - things you may need to make your stay for comfortable are easy to find!
There is delightful front porch that is sheltered and quite cozy. The back porch and yard while not large is spacious enough to spread out in the hammock or dine el fresco at the picnic table. Feel free to use the grill and say 'hi" over the fence to the neighbor's St. Bernard named Fletcher - he is a doll!
Smoking is permitted in either of these spaces and there are comfortable chairs to relax in and shelter from the weather. 420 friendly!
There is a recycling bin and a food compost bin that supports our neighborhood community gardens - if there is harvestable food from our garden please enjoy it!
Parking is easy - right out front - and free!
Our resident old lady kitty, Joyce, likes to sneak out on sunshiney days, please make sure she returns inside as you leave!
Dresser, end tables and spacious closet provide excellent storage to make yourself right at home here!
It's a pleasant stay. Very easy to park all day long right in front of the house. The room looks just like the photo posted and the price is fair! Recommended!
For my wife and I, we were looking to get away for the weekend and this proved to be perfect. Cheri's place was easy to get to from the freeway, easy to find a place to park and a short walk from several restaurants. This was our first Airbnb trip and we stayed 2 nights. Learning that Cheri does massages turned into a great Valentine's Day surprise for my wife. Unfortunately, Cheri now set the bar pretty high for me. My wife loved it! Cheri is very personable and her place has great character. We enjoyed our stay and I think we're hooked on this Airbnb thing. Thanks Cheri!!
I came as a stranger and left as a friend.
Cheri is a very warm and caring person.
She does what she can to make your stay a good experience.
The house is well kept and very clean. The house has several bathrooms and toilets, so there is no conflict if all the the rooms are rented out.
The guest can use the well equipped kitchen.
Close to the house you can find a supermarket (within walking distance) or some Vietnamese fast restaurants. To the city center it is a 20 min walk, it is safe, at least during the day.
Thank you Cheri, for your hospitality extended to me !
Cheri was a wonderful host and has an beautiful and comfortable home. I was looking to move to the area and chose to stay at Cheri's specifically because of all of the great reviews she has, and I was no disappointed. She is so friendly and welcoming, and was more than happy to provide information about the local area to this newbie. It's in an easily accessible location to so many parts of the city both by car and by foot. I highly recommend staying with Cheri!
This turned out to be a really pleasant corner room on the second floor, with everything you could need; comfy bed, desk, huge chair, speakers for my iphone, a wall of interesting books… We enjoyed our brief stay near Tacoma's amazingly vibrant downtown area, and followed Cheri's suggestion to drive the 5-mile road at Point Defiance on our way out of town. Highly recommended!
