About this listing
A secluded spot in the heart of Ocho Rios, this exquisite 3 bedroom 3 bathroom Villa sits on a pristine white sand private beach.
It's breathtaking waking up in the mornings and sipping a cup of coffee on the porch, looking out at the white sand beach and blue water (which is private).
Transportation to and from the airport is also available at an additional cost.
The villa comes with a maid who is there to cook, clean, go to the supermarket, show you around town or even babysit (if needed).
Expect the perfect get away for those looking for a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of life, yet close enough to the hub of entertainment activities in Ocho Rios for those seeking some fun!!.
The town of Ocho Rios has a wide range of things to do, restaurants, bars, casinos, dolphin park, ATV-ing, zip-lining, duty free jewelry stores and so much more ... and it's all just a stone's throw away from your private villa.
Public transportation is easily accessible, taxi's are quick and will take you anywhere you want to go. But most places are a short walk away.
We hope to see you soon ... :)
The place next to the sea, having his own private beach without any access from the outside is outstanding.
Enjoy your coffee under the shade of the tree with the sound of the waves...
Go to swim with the fishes : the snorkeling is amazing!
The house and property are beautiful. My wife and I rented the 1 bedroom villa for 2 nights then moved to the 3 bedroom for 3 nights after friends arrived. It is described and photographed accurately. The rooms were very clean; beds comfortable; suspended A/C was nice in the bedrooms, though the window unit in the adjoining 1 bedroom villa was noisy.
The caretaker, Gwen, was friendly and made us local dishes in the mornings and dinner. She also made grocery runs, but in retrospect, we would have probably saved money by shopping ourselves. That said, having her available to cook and clean was luxurious. Her jerk chicken was delish.
The water at the private beach was calm and clear. You can easily swim straight out to the coral for good snorkeling. The same snorkel spots that resort tours visit are right out the back door. (Morning snorkeling before the water gets touristy is the best.) A local fisherman named Lipton took us out deep sea fishing one morning and we caught tuna...which we ate that night. Picked us up right on the beach. Hard to beat that.
Property is located in a very authentic part of Ocho Rios. We didn't see any tourist while walking around. Day or night. This was ideal for us but I'm sure not for everyone. Inside the Villa Neptune gates, things are very different from outside the gates. Inside is like an oasis, while outside, the town can get a little loud at night and some of the locals can get a little loose. But, again, that was exactly what we were looking for and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Visit the "Fancy" restaurant on James Ave...best jerk chicken/pork around, next to Gwen's.
Downsides; the internet didn't work for the first 4 days. This was a major inconvenience, especially for the second half of our party who arrived a few days after my wife and I. They needed to do some work and were forced to chase Wifi at the hotel next door and local restaurants. Also, the lighting was a little harsh. We ended up switching light bulbs around to better suite our tastes. Obviously not a big deal
Overall, I would highly recommend for those seeking an authentic experience; or those who don't want to leave the beach and don't want to deal with the nightmarish, all inclusive resort hotels around the island.
We would absolutely love to stay here again
We stay in this spectacular villa for 6 days and the view of the water is incredible perfect spot for snorkeling
We lost power the first night but it was quickly take in care
I definitely recommend to have Jody cook for you some delicious Jamaica dishes and have her help you around town .
The villa was beautiful and sufficiently spacious for 6 people. Note that there are double beds (relatively small!) in each bedroom, so that two people have to share a bed if you are staying there with 6 people.
The photos on the posting are accurate. I would go sof ar as to say that the garden and private beach area is even better than seen on the photos.
The two small downsides were
1. The street the house is in is quite noisy. Also, there are a lot of people hanging around in the street near the house. Nothing happened, but I wouldn't have felt safe walking around in the area.
2. The maid went grocery shopping for us. After giving her USD 150, there was strangely no change left that she brought back. I wonder whether the shopping money included a tip for the maid or whether she actually manage to spend exactly USD 150. That said, the food that she prepared for us, was very good.
We stayed in Neptune Villa for 10 days and absolutely loved it. The property is situated in the non-touristed part of Ocho Rios, with lots of life, music and laughter - the busy part of town. But once you go though the property gates of Neptune Villa and you walk into this picturesque garden, house and ocean. You could not ask for anything more! And the staff are very friendly, yet professional.
We definately recommend this place!
The beachfront property was amazing. We loved being able to lounge on the deck, swim out to the reef, and drink some fresh coconut water that Popeye the gardener got for us. Gwen and Popeye really made the experience surpass our expectations. Gwen's dishes were excellent and she was a joy to be around. Communication was excellent and wifi was a bonus! An unbeatable authentic experience which cannot be found at any all inclusive.

I love all outdoor activities; hiking, camping, cave exploring, snorkeling, offroading, horse back riding, cliff hanging and virtually any thing else that you can think of, if i have not done it yet i'm just waiting for the opportunity. I am an animal lover currently operating my own rustic equestrian center in the Blue Mountains where we do trail riding, hiking and camping.
I love meeting people and showing off my country. I consider myself friendly and I try to make my guests feel at home. Can't wait to see you at Neptune Villas!
