We had a great time! The room is sunny, clean and tidy. Ola is welcoming and easy going.
I stayed at Brooklyn Cozy for a month while I was preparing to relocate from Chicago. Brooklyn Cozy has all the basics and it's easy to get into Manhattan via the J train.
The apartment is in a Brownstone on a quiet residential street. The neighbors were friendly and many said hello as I was walking my dog.
I had a lovely stay!
Our stay at Brooklyn Cozy was super. We were there in October 2013, and the trees along the street were really pretty. Ola provided towels and linen and even found a hairdryer for me! Her and Tarik were also very kind to provide us with maps and recommendations, and apart from this, people on the street were also very kind and helpful!
Very convenient location, close to the J line which takes you past Wiliamsburg towards Manhattan, and in the other direction to JFK.
our stay was very good in brooklyn cozy proximity to the train is the best the apartment is comfortable and spacious for three people
Enjoyed our stay at Brooklyn Cozy, Ola was helpful and accommodating with our flexible check in and out times. Really close to the subway so was easy to get around. Place was neat and tidy.
Great location! This was our first time in NYC, and we really enjoyed our stay at Brooklyn Cozy. The unit had everything we needed - bedroom, kitchen, washroom, Internet - and was only minutes away from the subway, a grocery store, a corner store and a liquor store. Parking was easy to find, as we never had to park more than a block or two away. The hosts were very welcoming and quick to answer our questions. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends. Thanks for a great stay!
Tarik and Ola are awesome host. We booked our reservation VERY last minute, however our host were absolutely accommodating to our needs. The bathroom is exquisite, and the kitchen is very user friendly. The area was safe, semi-quiet and VERY convenient to my personal and business needs. I'll be returning to BK soon and hope Brooklyn Cozy will be available!!!!
I passed about 10 days in "Brooklyn Cozy" and I recommend the experience.
Pros: the price, the neighborhood is quiet and safe, the flat is very close to the subway, with restaurants and supermarkets, public gardens and it's near the Brooklyn Museum of Art (that I recommend for sure!). Peace, the owner, is very very very kind and helpful. The flat is quite big and I liked very much the main bedroom and the taste of the interior design.
Cons: I think they should change the shower courtains and the carpets in the bathroom and I think that the tub needs a new coat of paint.
Talik and Ola were amazing and responsive to all questions I had on my first time in NY. They were definitely great hosts. In terms of the place itself, it was comfortable and accommodating. I slept well in the spacious bed and made hot tea every morning with the provided English Breakfast tea packets. The bathroom had everything I needed. My only suggestion for the bathroom would be to add a soap/shampoo holder so it isn't sliding all over the bathtub. And best of all, the subway J line that takes you to Manhattan is 1.5 blocks away. If you've lived in a very nice neighborhood all your life then the neighborhood may deter you but I felt safe walking home (couple times inebriated) past 3am every night I stayed there.
Would I recommend this place to my friends? If they have no problems staying in Brooklyn ... absolutely!
Cozy indeed! you'll feel just right at home, this place is awesome and you'll get the greatest hosts, they were so helpful during Sandy storm. Also, It is really close to the train station and it'll take you to midtown Manhattan in less than 30min. The neighborhood felt very safe, I walked my dog at least twice a day and met only super friendly people.
