This charming cape code style home has been lovingly updated with modern comforts and conveniences, beautifully renovated kitchen and baths, and hardwood floors throughout. Antiques and local artisan pieces complement the Amish-made tables and Italian leather couch. Central air conditioning and heating keep the home comfortable year-round. Wireless Internet is provided as well as satellite TVs. There is a stereo system so bring your CD's and/or iPod.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to make great meals at home. There is a cafe table and chairs, refrigerator/freezer, range/oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster, blender and crockpot. Coffee beans, a grinder, and tea bags and basic seasonings are provided. If you like to grill, a gas bar-b-que is available.
MAIN LEVEL: Living room, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom with queen-size bed, and a half-bath.
UPPER LEVEL: 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower.
LOWER LEVEL: Large family room with TV, exercise bike, Blu-ray/DVD/CD player. Laundry area with washer and dryer, ironing board and iron.
All linens and towels are while or light-colored and are included, as well as hair dryers, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, kleenex, paper towels, napkins, etc. There are games, puzzles and books, as well.
Digital keypads on doors make it easy for guests to enter and leave the home without having to worry about taking a key. The keypads work well for self-check in as well. Check-in 4:00pm or later. Check-out is 11:00am. Please notify Teri when you have arrived and as you are checking out.
Two cars may be parked in the driveway, and there is off-street parking for additional cars. There is a small single garage where you can park a couple of motorcycles or store bikes and other recreational gear.

Holy Cow is our family guest house owned by myself (Teri) and my brother, Mike. My husband and I have a farm just outside of New Glarus. I am a real estate broker licensed in WY where I started my real estate career in 1989. Having owned, managed, and sold vacation homes for many years and having traveled quite a bit myself, for both business and pleasure, I am very sensitive to traveler’s wants and needs. It is my wish for your stay to be stress-free, enjoyable and memorable. I am just a phone call or text away if you have questions or need anything - always happy to recommend restaurants, things to do, etc. If I am out of town I have friends in New Glarus who are here to help as well.
Perfect location, bordering downtown New Glarus. We love to be able to walk to the Glarner Stube, New Glarus Hotel, Kristie's, Cow and Quince, Puempels Olde Tavern, music at Tofflers, Fat Cat Coffee Works, and Sugar River Pizza. New Glarus Brewing Co., a must-see when visiting the area, is just a 5 minute drive.
No need for a vehicle in New Glarus. You can walk everywhere from this property. If you want to bike, it is just a couple of blocks to the Sugar River State Trail.
EPIC - VERONA: Just a 20-minute scenic drive to Epic, while enjoying gorgeous views of lush green valleys and hillsides, farms, barns, and cows.
New Glarus is a great place to base your vacation. It is centrally located in the Driftless region of Southwestern Wisconsin. From here there are many quaint little towns and villages to explore.
CLOSEST COMMERCIAL AIRPORT is in Madison, about 45 minutes.
