Antonella & Flavio were absolutely WONDERFUL hosts! They were super friendly and made me very comfortable when I arrived in Perugia. Even though I was traveling with my sister who had lived in Perugia, Antonella provided incredibly detailed instructions for my arrival and was waiting for me at the top of the street. Inside of the apartment was very modern and comfortable - I stayed alone but it would be a perfectly spacious location for another 1-3 people. The location of the apartment was very central and great for getting to the downtown area. Unfortunately, I didn't take into account that the Umbria Jazz festival was in town and it made for some very loud late nights. While it was nice to stay in the cooler basement of a building during the extreme heatwave we were there for, the single window above the door made for a space that was a little stale and damp. However, I think that this was an unusual circumstance and wouldn't stop me from staying here again with two wonderful hosts!
We had a very pleasant stay in antonellas appartement! She acted very easy going on our late arrival and made us feel welcome. The appartment was clean and very cool during a very hot summer! Definitely recommend staying at this place!
The house is perfectly in the center of Perugia. It is immediately cool if you enter the house, which was very nice because of the hot weather. It is rather big and has everything you need.
Flavio met us 3 minutes away from the house and explained some things about the house and Perugia. We had a great stay!
Antonella and Flavio, we had a lovely time in Perugia. The apartment could not have been better, it was clean, well equipped, confortable and excellent location.
We very much hope to stay there again in the future!
Antonella was a most helpful host. She met us right near the apartment on our arrival, and even though we were 30 minutes late, she was gracious and never made us feel bad about it. She gave us good information about the town and was quickly available by text if we had any questions. The location is ideal--right near the Duomo and Corso Vannucci. It takes only about 10 minutes walk to get down to Piazza Partigiani for the buses to the other towns and it only takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the train station (first to the Mini-Metro, which is only four short stops from the train station). It is nicely renovated and we always had hot water in the shower. There is a fully equipped kitchen, but, since I usually have little interest in cooking on my vacation, I did not use it at all.
