Mata's Athenian Mosaic is a 1-bedroom house in buzzing Kerameikos. The area is super safe, surrounded by vibrant cafes, bars and restaurants, where locals hang out. The private balcony offers a point of calm amidst the city’s buzz, making it ideal for families, couples, or friends looking for the perfect blend of exploration and relaxation.
INDOORS:
Mata's Athenian Mosaic can accommodate up to 4 people, in 1 separate bedroom and the living room. One bedroom with a queen-size double bed, and a big sofa in the living room, which can be turned into a double bed.
There is a fully equipped kitchen for preparing any meals you want.
The bathroom consists of a WC and a large shower cabin.
The house has two air-condition units and central heating to ensure comfort all year round (included in the price).
OUTDOORS:
The house features a private outdoor space with sunshine and shaded outdoor seating. The balcony is ideal for relaxing overlooking an old house and trees from a mini park.
Public parking is available in the area.
Guest access
- You can reach the property and explore the surrounding area on foot. The house is only 1000 meters from Thiseio metro station and less than 600 meters from Kerameikos metro station.
- To/from Athens International Airport: use Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) which connects the airport with Kerameikos directly. Estimated travel time: 45 minutes.
- To/from Piraeus Port: Use Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) to/from Kerameikos to "Piraeus" station. Estimated travel time: 18 minutes.
- Guests can have access to the whole house and the balcony.
Other things to note
IMPORTANT INFO: Starting from 1st January 2024 a new law by the Greek Government introduced a climate tax ("Sustainability fee against climate change") to be paid by the guest on site. This tax will amount to 8 Euros PER NIGHT for the whole group of guests.
- Please note all guests must follow local regulations to keep noise level down. This is a typical Athenian house in an authentic (non touristic) residency building where families and professionals live; so, extra care should be taken to keep noise level down, especially during 3-5pm and 10.00pm-7.30am.
