Check In
  • Deb was very nice and helpful with all the questions I had. Our bus got in early and I really appreciated that she gave us access to the apartment before the check in time. Once we got the keys she never imposed on us, but I knew she was only a phone call away if I needed anything. The apartment was new and clean. The location is absolutely perfect. There is nothing that is not within walking distance. That was my first time in Philly and it was so easy to get around. We felt very safe and comfortable. Walking up to the 3rd floor was not a problem, not even for my 71 year old mom.
If I ever visit Philadelphia again Deb's place will be my first choice and I recommend it to everyone.

  • It is really clean, nice and good house:)!!
All the furniture is comfortable and bethroom is celan.
Also, it is located near City hall, market street, Reading Market and China town which are the main attraction, so 6 friends of mine and I enjoy the trip and are satisfied with Deb's house.

  • We stayed with Deb for a 10 day long conference at the Philadelphia Convention Centre. The location was perfect, and even though Deb was out of town at that time, and the apartment had a mystery leak due to the rain, we were able to get help from her Mother, who came to check the apartment. It was a lovely stay, and we would definitely recommend Deb!

  • This apartment is fantastic! Located right at the edge of beautiful Chinatown, it's a short walk from the terminal market and all the historical Philly sights, and a short cab ride away from everything else.

Deb was a great hostess, she was eager to answer any questions we had and was only a short distance away whenever we needed anything, we even ran into her walking around market street. She had prepared a book with all the things to do in Philly from a locals standpoint which was great.

My only qualm was a lack of wifi, but there are several open hotspots nearby and it wasn't really an issue.

The apartment was clean and new. The bedrooms are even so no fighting over who gets what, and is located in a nice building in a nice area. Next time I take a trip to Philly I'm definitely trying to book this place first. 10/10 will book again.

  • I loved loved loved staying in Deb's place. It was clean, comfy, and cozy (I don't mean cozy as code for small, but cozy like I felt like I was at "home"). The location can't be beat. And I felt like the place was modern and functional. Deb was flexible when I had to change my date and time of arrival and I greatly appreciate that. I do wish that she had free wireless internet access. Other than that 5 stars (out of 5)!

  • The apartment was indeed spacious and very warm. It had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which was great as we cooked in a lot. The neighbourhood was great; close to everything.
Didn't talk to or see Deb at all.
Also didn't realise how much of an inconvenience having no internet was going to be as the Market (where there is free wifi) closes early. The stairs were treacherous! We were on a long trip and had heavy bags. It would be better for guests with less luggage. Also the noise of other neighbours was unexpected. It was surprising that such a new building would have such thin walls. There is also a lot of street noise.

  • Deb is good host. She welcomed us when we arrived, right on time. She gave us a tour trough the appartement en told us something about the city.
The appartment was clean en cozy. The two normal beds are oke, the sleepingcouch in the livingroom we didnt use but the one in the bedroom isnt great because your laying on the iron beams. The appartment is on the beginning of china town, great location! right in the middle of the city. Just the noice of the dumbstertrucks, ventilationchannels of the nearby restaurant and the firetrucks isnt great because the glass is just a single glass. Now it looks like the window is open, but it isnt. Earsplugs are advised for the difuccelt sleepers.

  • Deb was a great host. Her apartment was very clean and centrally located. We had arrived on thursday and Deb was great meeting us mid afternoon to give us tje keys. Deb was willing to work with us with check in and out times and was very gracious with information about the area. The apartment was a nice size for 5 people and we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. I would highly recommend Deb's apartment to anyone looking to stay in Philly!

  • If you're looking for a great place to stay in Philly and explore the city, this is it. Deb is a fantastic host and was very accommodating to our needs/schedules. The place is great, considering it was 6 of us. But even better is the location. The convention center is literally around the corner and Reading Terminal is only about two blocks away. The place is surrounded by great Chinese restaurants/bakeries (it is in Chinatown after all) and close to a bunch of other great bars/restaurants in Washington Square West, a very lively neighborhood. And to get to other parts of Philly, the nearest SEPTA (their subway) station is only a few blocks away. Overall, we had a great time and all thanks to Deb. Definitely recommend her place and will be looking out for her place for future visits in Philly.

  • I stayed here for 4 nights with a couple other librarians for a conference. The convenience to the convention center (right across the street) was PERFECT! Food, bars, shopping, other hotels for meetings were all w/in walking distance, a couple blocks. The Reading Terminal rocked - we got foods there to eat at our place and ate there too - yum. Took the SEPTA train from the airport and walked a couple blocks to this place, very easy.... and this was in winter in cold and snow (nice and toasty inside the apt)

Deb met us to let us in and she was very friendly and helpful! The place was perfect for 3 of us - a beds each of 2 rooms and a pull out futon in the "living room" worked great! (the extra futon in the bedroom was terrible though so don't plan on using that on) I would rent from Deb again if I was going to Philly.

    * I recommend eating at Pho Cali on Arch Street for amazing Pho and avocado smoothies :)

Hi there! I'm a clean and responsible person. LOVE to eat good food! I'm a city girl that like to travel especially overseas. Been to several places in Asia, been to ~14 Counties in Europe (an counting). Countless places in the states, but I still reside in Philly where I was born and raised. I enjoy learning about different culture and exploring new things (nothing too extreme).
