  • We spent a lovely week in Angelo's appartement. It is remarquably well located, just about 50m away from Campo de' Fiori where we used to take our breakfast cappuccino every morning. We did all the visits on foot from there, and enjoyed being able to easily come back to the appartment for a little nap before going out in the evening again. The place is very calm (much calmer than our own), on a very narrow and charming (pedestrian) old street, we slept very well !

  • This apartment was awesome!! It was our first time using airbnb and it is exactly as pictured! The area was great. Lots of things to do in the area around the apartment as well as walking distance to all main attractions in Rome. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Rome! Thanks for everything!

  • My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Angelo's apartment. The flat is on a quite side street just steps away from the wonderful Piazza Campo de Fiori. Angelo was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us some great tips for our touristing. The piazza hosts a fresh fruit and vegetable market every morning, which we took advantage of most days. The air conditioning worked great and is a must for a summer visit. We loved the charm of the 500 year old building with its acient steps and doorways. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more central location to see all the sights of Rome than this apartment! Thank you, Angelo!

  • We had a great experience with Dario & Claire. We booked this property but it was accidentally double booked. Claire contacted us and offered a different property also right off the Campo de' Fiori, along with a €100 total discount and we accepted.

Therefore, I can't comment on the property this review is actually listed under, so I'll focus on the condition of the property and the helpfulness of our hosts. Their willingness to put us up in another equally suitable property was very appreciated and shaved some cost off our trip. They returned our emails quickly and were waiting at the door for us when we arrived. The location of being on the Campo de Fiori was great. The Campo is a really cool market in the morning/day and turns into a bevy of restaurants and street performances at night. Most of the restaurants actually on the square are overpriced and not that great, but there are many hidden gems (be sure to eat at Cantina Lucifero, which we thought was some of the best food we ate in Europe!) a few blocks in any direction. Be sure to buy a bottle of wine at a grocery store to drink on the square, though, which is a cheap way for some nighttime fun.

I wish 4.5 stars was an option because that's what they deserved. The only issue was the shower smelled slightly of mildew. Luckily, we had some travel clorox wipes that took care of it. Other than that, the property was very clean. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this property.

  • Dario and Claire were very helpful for a last minute reservation. Their place was fantastic. Two levels with all the charm one could ask for. Very clean and comfortable and quiet. Excellent location to Camp de fiori and all the major sights nearby with a short walk. Can not wait to return again next year!
