"Love it! Bella Retreat is the perfect escape away. Our large family who range from 5 months old to 68 years old, all loved staying here and have vowed to make it an annual event. The best part was seeing the kids go 'free-range', enjoying the tyre swing, huge trampoline, secret fairy pathways and obstacle course. Tranquil and peaceful, yet so close to all the attractions of the Margaret River region. "

"Bella Retreat was perfect for our family get-together. Because we had the two cottages, we had some privacy as well. The ambience was casual and relaxed and the grounds were beautiful. We loved it and hope to be back next year"

Margaret River is a destination that truly offers something for every age, taste, budget or ambition. The region is most famous for its wineries that produce many fine white and red wines that are exported all over the world. The Margaret River flows through the centre of the region, passing the Margaret River Township that is 8km from the ocean. Although the area is named after this town, it spreads all the way along the coast from a few kilometres south of Busselton, out to Cape Naturaliste and the spreads over an area about 30km-wide down the south coast to Cape Leeuwin, Australia’s most south western point.
There are many comprehensive websites which you can visit and explore which will inform you as to the many wonderful things you can see and do during your stay in the Margaret River Region.
There are numerous Natural Wonders, Caves, Beaches, Wineries, Art Galleries, Golf Courses, Horesriding, Fishing, Whale Watching, Surfing and of course a vast array of cafes or fine dining restaurants.
Interaction with Guests
We value our guests privacy so although you are able to contact someone 24/7, we will leave you alone otherwise.

The Margaret River Wine Region is truly one of the great holiday destinations of the world. Blessed with a perfect Mediterranean maritime climate, the four seasons are gently defined in the soulful corner of Western Australia
What is known as the Margaret River is an area that begins just south of Busselton, stretching out to Cape Naturaliste in between Dunsborough and Yallingup then further south along the coast to Cape Leeuwin – imagine a cone superimposed on the map of the south west of Western Australia. Cape Leeuwin is Australia’s most south westerly point, where the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean meet.
Year-round, the Margaret River Region offers premium wineries, superlative galleries and art, remarkable caves, superb and diverse accommodation, fine dining, beautiful coastal and forest scenery, excellent swimming, fishing, world-class surfing beaches and history.
It is an area of outstanding hospitality and beautiful country with rolling green hills and thick forests. Caves Road is named after the several large caves that it joins, with daily guided tours available. The coastal scenery is rugged and breathtaking in many parts. There are many fantastic beaches from the world class surf beaches of Prevelly and Yallingup to the tranquil clear waters of Geographe Bay.
You will definitely need your own transport!

The house was very good, well equipped and clean. The location is excellent, close to Margaret River center and the good wineries but at the same time very quite and private.
I didn't get to meet Belinda personally but she was extremely helpful during our e-mail communication.
We had a lovely time at Bella Retreat. The house was great, very comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Our toddlers loved the trampoline and play areas and we really enjoyed taking walks around the grounds of the property watching the kangaroos watching us in the fields behind the house, and listening to the kookaburras up in the trees. We were lucky enough to be visited one morning by a kangaroo and joey, right up to the back deck of the house, amazing! The house was well situated, close enough to town but also away from it all, a fantastic retreat in the bush!
I had a great time at bella retreat . It was the perfect weekend . It's located so close to the town centre and yet the property feels like your in your own world . Such beautiful grounds to walk around . The beds were beautifully made with fresh towels and everything was very clean and welcoming when we got there . The outdoor area was great for entertaining and the indoor fire was so cozy . A nice big gas oven to cook our roast in . The large selection of movies was great for the Saturday hangover. I definitely recommend staying here , I will definitely go back again some time .
