After visiting the city of Dublin we stayed in the very nice house of Carmel and her family. The house offers everything you need for a nice and relaxed stay. Everything was provided and available in the house (some food, linen, dishwasher, washing machine) and although we did not have the chance to meet Carmel herself, we had very good contact with her.
The house is located in the nice village of Sandycove/Glasthule and very close to the sea and to several beaches. It is a perfect location to explore the area; the train station is only a five minute walk from the house and you can take the DART to the south to visit the beautiful Wicklow Mountains, or to the north to make a nice cliff hike at Howth.
We very much enjoyed the area and I would really recommend a stay in this nice house!
