About this listing
A comfortable one room apartment with everything what one could need. Five minutes to the town hall, easy connection to the bus and railway stations. There is a market on the other side of the street, where you can get your fresh food form the local farmers.
The apartment was designed by myself as my living space. So please feel like home. There is one big living room where one can rest and work plus a separate small, but well equipped kitchen space. One person or a couple will feel really comfortable here. Pets are welcome. The whole apartment will be available only for You.
A few words about the location. It is a street in a city center. There are a some passers-by during the day in that street including occasional prostitutes and market workers. So the street is rather busy during the daytime, but after 3PM everything slows down.
The apartment is at the very beginning of the old town territory. So you would have only 5 - 7 minutes walk to the old town hall. It is also about 5 - 7 minutes walk from the bus and railway stations. So everything is really in a walking distance. Unless you are tired or exploring some distant parts of the town - in that case you can catch a bus at a bus stop, which is in 3 min from the place by foot. There is a very good connection with the rest of the city.
If any recommendations concerning the sightseeing in Vilnius and area or any other kind of tips are needed, I would help with a pleasure. I speak English, Russian, Polish and German.
The apartment is located on the border of the Old town and so called New town (you cross the street and you are in the Old town). It is a kind of transitional zone - mixture of the XIX ce. old Vilnius with a market and a station district features.
Other Things to Note
In a cold period (app. November-March), the floor gets a bit cool. We recommend to pack slippers or warm socks with you. Some guests worry, that we have no central heating, I could tell you it is even better, because the apartment is heated by the radiators, one can adjust the warmness of the flat to his/ her needs on the spot. Warmer during the day time and less during the night, or just as you feel like !
When enter the address of the place to GPS, put only the first number, this is the number of the house. The second figure in the address is the number of the apartment. Do not put both and try not to mix them :)
You should feel like home here. We just expect you to leave the place more or less the same as you found it. The check-in and check-out times are flexible (with agreement in advance) provided there are no other guests leaving/arriving.
