A comfortable one room apartment with everything what one could need. Five minutes to the town hall, easy connection to the bus and railway stations. There is a market on the other side of the street, where you can get your fresh food form the local farmers.
The apartment was designed by myself as my living space. So please feel like home. There is one big living room where one can rest and work plus a separate small, but well equipped kitchen space. One person or a couple will feel really comfortable here. Pets are welcome. The whole apartment will be available only for You.
A few words about the location. It is a street in a city center. There are a some passers-by during the day in that street including occasional prostitutes and market workers. So the street is rather busy during the daytime, but after 3PM everything slows down.
The apartment is at the very beginning of the old town territory. So you would have only 5 - 7 minutes walk to the old town hall. It is also about 5 - 7 minutes walk from the bus and railway stations. So everything is really in a walking distance. Unless you are tired or exploring some distant parts of the town - in that case you can catch a bus at a bus stop, which is in 3 min from the place by foot. There is a very good connection with the rest of the city.
If any recommendations concerning the sightseeing in Vilnius and area or any other kind of tips are needed, I would help with a pleasure. I speak English, Russian, Polish and German.
The apartment is located on the border of the Old town and so called New town (you cross the street and you are in the Old town). It is a kind of transitional zone - mixture of the XIX ce. old Vilnius with a market and a station district features.
Other Things to Note
In a cold period (app. November-March), the floor gets a bit cool. We recommend to pack slippers or warm socks with you. Some guests worry, that we have no central heating, I could tell you it is even better, because the apartment is heated by the radiators, one can adjust the warmness of the flat to his/ her needs on the spot. Warmer during the day time and less during the night, or just as you feel like !
You should feel like home here. We just expect you to leave the place more or less the same as you found it. The check-in and check-out times are flexible (with agreement in advance) provided there are no other guests leaving/arriving.
The apartment is close to the train station as well as the old town. Details provided in the profile were complete and Živilė was helpful in providing more information when we asked.
Great host. On time. Flat is as pictured. It's warm and well insulated. Neighbourhood a little rough at night but didn't have any issues. Would stay again.
It was a pleasure staying in Živilė and Tadas' apartment! Živilė is very friendly and helpful. She gave many interesting tips, showed on a map what to see and what to do in the beautiful city of Vilnius. The location of the studio is perfect and inside there's everything you'd need. Its's tastefully designed and clean. I highly recommend this offer!
The apartment corresponds its photos, is nice and clean and is situated very close to the old city as well as railway station and bus station. Zivile was also very nice.
Živilė is a great and a very friendly host; her advice was very prompt and helpful.
The studio is a good value for the money; its location is perfect, just minutes away from the railway and bus station, all Vilnius sights are as well in walking distance. The studio is well equipped, it matches the pictures and is ideal for 2 persons.
However please note that the bathroom is really tiny (at least seemed for both of us , we are 1.8 and 1.9 m ) and has no sink. Moreover if you come in winter season please take not only warm socks but some other warm multi-layer outfit as the studio is in an old building and has only electric heating.
Živilė is art curator, Tadas is an artist and policy analyst. We both live in Vilnius for over 15 years. We love our city and we will be glad to help you discover it. Looking forward to meeting you!
