We built our dream house in Amed after spending most of our Bali holiday time at Amed.
We were charmed by the village atmosphere, fishermen, salt makers,farmers...all very friendly and welcoming.
A very stark contrast to the busy side of the island.
The towering mass of the sacred Mount Agung and beauty of the coastline looking towards Tulamben added to the attraction of Amed.
Abundant restaurants....one either side of us and many more have a regular supply of fresh local seafood.
Proximity to the Gili Islands...45 mins by boat and Lombok is also another attraction of Amed
Our friendly staff are all local and only too willing to help visitors make their stay as enjoyable as possible.
Meet our staff, left to right.Nyoman ,Ketut and Made.
