Check-In/Check-Out Times
We are flexible on check-in times. However, if there's another party checking in on the same day you depart, or checking out on the same day your arrive, the check-in and out times are as follow:

Check-Out time: 12 PM
Check-In time: 1 PM or later

The 1 rule is: Please do not smoke inside the house. We have ash trays in the patio and we would be most grateful if guests will abide by this.

About Us
We are 2 brothers who live in different continents growing up (US and Australia), and we decided to move to Bali together in late 2012. Right now, we decide to see a bit of the world together, so while we are traipsing the world, we are renting out our house in Bali. As the adage goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed, and we count ourselves blessed and lucky to have our friend, Peter, who would be helping us checking-in/out guests while we are not in Bali.

Any information left out or something else you would like to know about? Please feel free to ask and we'll happily get back to you as soon as we can!

House Rules
No smoking
Not suitable for pets
No parties or events
Not safe or suitable for infants (Under 2 years)
Check-in time is 2PM - 2AM (next day)
Check out by 12PM (noon)

The only rule that we have is that our guests do not smoke inside the house. We have ashtrays in the balcony.

Our check in time is 2 PM and check out time is 12 PM (noon). However, we do try to be as flexible as possible in terms of check in and check out time if there's no one checking out or no one checking in respectively. We have allowed guests to check out as late as 10 PM when there's no one else checking in, and we have allowed guests to check in as early as 6 AM when there's no one occupying the place.

If there are existing guests, then our check in time is 2 PM (because their check out time is 12 (noon), and we will need a couple of hours to get the place ready for the new guests), and if we have new guests coming in, then our check out tie is noon (because the new guests will need to check in by 2 PM).

If it's simply leaving our luggage at the premise prior to checking in (if there are current guests), or prior to checking out (in case there are new guests checking in), it shouldn't be an issue because some guests do that as well. Please be assured that if we can accommodate our guests' requests, we would. However, we can't block off an extra night for an early check in or a late check out. I hope you understand our position about this.

This place is okay if you want to be near Kuta Beach or Legian, but after being there, I don’t recommend the area. I would stay near Canggu instead where the beach is less crowded and cleaner. My biggest complaint is that there was some terrible loud noise like a circular saw that would happen every few minutes throughout the night. This kept me from sleeping well while I was there. I couldn’t figure out what the sound was and when I asked the cleaning person about it I don’t think they understood. This might not be a normal occurrence there, but it definitely sucked for me. The bed was comfortable though and everything else was fine.

Hendro and his team were very accommodating and super flexible when our boat back from Gili was delayed. Great location!

Very nice apartment. Great for the price. Host was very helpful with tourist tips for the area. Hendro and his assistant were very nice and answered all our questions quickly. Even helped us book surf lessons with some great locals instead of us spending too much with a bigger surf school. Only drawback was that there was only one small window in the apartment so bring an alarm clock or you'll sleep forever. We would stay again!

Response from Hendro:
Hi Sehun, There's hot water in the apartment. There's only 4 apartments in the building and it was fully booked when you guys were staying. Water for all 4 apartment is supplied from the same pump and water heater and all the other apartments have hot water, so your apartment should have hot water too. I am really sorry that you didn't have hot water during your stay. We will make sure to check everything before a check in for future guests. Thank you.

We loved the bed. There's just not windows at the room but will make you sleep really long. Dark and good linens. Good value for the price. Thanks!

The home worked well for our 5 days in Kuta/Legian. Fairly central to Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak, especially if you hire a scooter. Walkable as well if you don't mind a few long treks. The apartment was a bit outdated and could use some light repairs, but it was very clean (cleaned daily) and had everything you would need for a few days or few weeks stay. Aryani was very helpful in arranging a scooter rental for us as well as a fast boat reservation to Gili T. for a few days. She also replied to our (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) messages almost immediately every time. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
