I had to stay one night in Dublin, and I chose to try for the first time Airbnb with Romi, Joey, Emi and Lily, and I couldn't have chosen a better house. Since the first minute I arrived at their warm and lovely house, I felt like I was at home: they were very kind and caring, and they explained me everything I needed in my stay in Dublin. It was a great pleasure having conversation with them, as they truly are a great family, and the cool thing is: they let you be a part of it.
I still can't thank them enough for the awesome company, care and kindness I received and I really wish I had stayed for more than one night. If I'll ever visit Dublin again, I'll know where to stay. Definitely recommended! I wish to see them soon again!
Romi and Joey are like family. They treat you like you are a part of their home and not just a guest: you become a part of the family. They provide a comfortable, homey, loving environment and, of course, a giant cabinet filled with tea. It's amazing. Their two girls, Lily and Emi, are lovely and very mature about having guests come in and out of their home. They both are full of life and will always put a smile on your face.
Living with Romi and Joey was the best choice. If I'm ever back in Dublin, I would choose to live with them again in a heartbeat.
My first Airbnb experience was fabulous! Romi, Joey and the girls made me feel so at home! Romi detailed out bus routes and gave such great advice! The room was very comfortable and the location easy to get to using the bus system. I will recommend them to anyone I know going to Dublin!!
What a wonderful home. Not only are Romi and Joey professional, experienced hosts with a well-located and maintained home, they and their family are loving and welcoming. I absolutely loved staying with them and would again in a heartbeat.
I stayed at Romi and Joey's a couple of days ago. Joey is a very friendly Irish American with strong family roots and who really enjoys meeting and chatting with his guests. Romi is Italian and will go above and beyond to accommodate you. Both were very welcoming and I would highly recommend staying there for its convenience location, peaceful and pleasant surroundings and warm family.
Lastly, their two little girls are adorable and another reason to want to stay there.
This was the first time that I used Airbnb and I didn't know quite what to expect.
I made my reservation by "instant book" and then spoke to Romi on her phone to double confirm my booking and that everything was ok as I was going to arrive around 9pm in the evening. She was polite, welcoming and professional and told me everything would be just fine and that Joey would be at home to meet me.
When I arrived I was greeted by Joey who brought me straight to the kitchen and offered me a nice cup of tea. We chatted about lots of things like we had known each other for years. I found him to be open, friendly and very interesting. He explained where things were in the kitchen and to help myself to fruit, drinks and snacks if I was hungry.
Romi & Joey's house is really well located to Dublin Airport and also is very near the main motorway that leads into the centre of Dublin. It is clean, well-kept and organised. After a quick explanation and tour of the house I was shown to my room. Fresh towels & shower gel was provided as well as a username and password for WiFi Internet access.
I checked out around 5am in the morning as I had to grab an early flight so didn’t have a chance to say goodbye. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would recommend Romi and Joey's as great Airbnb hosts.
I wish them both continued success,
Even though I have only stayed for a couple of nights in Dublin, I remained happy with the experience at the Joey & Romi household. I have been provided with maps, directions on what to visit, as well as with a Leap Card. The room has ever everything a traveller needs, complete with an adaptor, maps etc. The house is conveniently located halfway through between the city and the airport.
