Right from the first moment meeting Joey and Romi, they did everything and then some to make me feel at home. From introducing me to some great places to discover in Dublin to providing delicious breakfast every morning, they were better than I could have ever expected them to be!
The whole family (especially their two little daughters Emi and Lily) were integral in letting me have a wonderful month working in Dublin, helping me with finding my way around the new city, inviting me to all sorts of going's on and sharing evenings together letting me cook for them (and vice versa). I couldn't have asked for a better family to stay with at all. I promise that I'll be back one day, I have so much more to see of Dublin and the rest of Ireland!
Romi and Joey are great hosts. I felt right at home once I walked through the door. The house was very close to the airport. Both Romi and Joey are very helpful with any questions or needs that you may have. When I make it back to Dublin, they will be the first people I contact about a place to stay. Great Family!
Romi and Joey are warm, wonderful people. I felt right at home with them during my short stay. The directions to the house were so precise that upon getting off the bus stop, I immediately located the house and was greeted by Romi and her huge tea collection and a hot cup of tea. The room itself is clean with a cozy bed. I had plenty of space for my belongings. WiFi, hot water, and heater all worked well. The neighborhood itself was peaceful and beautiful. I felt safe walking home at night alone.
Romi and Joey fully understand exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure I get the most out of my short stay in Dublin as a solo student traveler. Joey provided me with information about the city, Ireland, its history and people which made for really engaging discussions. Romi gave me a map of Dublin and pointed places to eat as well as a bus pass card to be loaded that made traveling easier. She was gracious even to call a taxi for me the evening before my early day tour of Ireland.
I'm so glad I chose their listing. My experience with them is the kind that I had been seeking when I decided to use AirBnB. It's those very special conversations shared with strangers who felt like family. These are remarkable, once-in-a-lifetime kind of people with beautiful, kind little girls.
On the first place a big thankssaying for the warm, perfectly organised and easygoing welcome and stay at my hosts. They provided me in the very first hour after my arriving with insider tips about just the perfekt way to spend the precious time in the capital culturally, socially, culinary and in the nature as well.
Nice and quite neighbourhood, 15-20 Minutes to the Liffey river by bus. Cosy, light and warm room. I became a detailed citymap personally and inreactive customized on my needs- transport, sightseeings, pubs and restaurants and it worked.
One of the highlights was the trip to Hawth with Joey and the kids, which was really a lovely experience, beeing lucky to have a lot of sunshine and almost no rain.
I would definitively recommend this accomodation for everybody who's visiting Dublin for the first time.
And I'm definitely coming back some day :)
This was the first time using airbnb and also my first time to Ireland. It was the perfect place to rest after a long flight! The family came home the morning I had to leave but Romi kindly invited me to come back for dinner. It was great to chat with Romi and Joey, I have never met such warm, helpful and welcoming people! Their girls are also adorable and so friendly. Romi and Joey will give you plenty of tips, maps, breakfast, and great conversation! I'm so glad to have met this family, they will make any kind of transition to Dublin very easy!
My stay with Romi & Joey was my first time using Airbnb and it was the best decision I could have made! The trip from the airport to their home was quick and painless(one bus ride & a short walk). Once I arrived Romi sat me down, offered me a cup of tea and a snack, then pulled out a map to show me which buses I could ride, where to eat, and places to see. There was also a ton of information in the bedroom. It started my trip off right! When I decided to do a day tour they called a cab for me so I could get into the city early. While there my adaptor stopped working and Romi helped me fix it. The room was clean and stocked with towels. As far as location, it couldn't be better. It's just a few stops on the bus and with all the help from Romi & Joey you won't have a problem.

We are a family of 4. We love music, photography, arts & crafts, cooking, travel, visiting Dublin Zoo and the National Botanic Gardens, and we always do lots of outdoor activities. The girls are 6 and 4 and half years old, they are very friendly and respectful.
Our house is located in a very quiet area and you'll find our hospitality at the highest standards. Breakfast is included and we have a very large tea collection to enjoy! Joe and I traveled a lot and we know what travelers need. Hope to see you soon in our home! You'll have a great time :)
