It is located near many Universities in the area as Universidad Nacional, Malls, downtown Heredia. It is located 30 to 40 minutes from San Jose, the capital and the international airport, depending on the traffic.
The neighboughood are middle class families, it is safe as the house as well.
There is a small supermarked almost at front of the house, where you can find what you may need to cook if you want: groceries, meats, cheese, fruits & vegetables.
Next to the house there is also a small groceries place & morning bakery.
It is located at 2 & 4 blocks from a Bus stop to San Jose, the capital. 5 blocks from a bus stop to the International Airport. 5 blocks from one to the biggest Malls in the country, Paseo de las Flores where you can find banks, cafes, shops, libraries, ice cream shops, bars, fine restaurants and so on.

There is a bigh dining room area with two tables for 4 people each. There is a laundry area with 2 washers and and area with clotheslines where you can hand your clothes to dry. Due to the tropical wheather and heat (from 19 to 23 Celcius) the clothes dry easily in couple of hours.

The place is simply but charm and cozy, the people living there respectful, serious, quiet and nice or "pura vida" as Costa Ricans saying. This is a non smoking place, for quiet and calm residents.

love my host.. the other residents were such great kids.. and all were great to share my time with.. Costa Rica is a wonderful country.. theTico's are warm, welcoming people. I never had a moment when they were not kind to me. Next time.. however.. I really must have a wee bit more spanish.. love the people.. and Margoth is a wonderful host and now a friend...
This is a great value guest-house for the committed budget traveler. I was only traveler staying there. The others were local Ticos - they were about 1/2 my age. Most were working and there was 1 student. Look for La Puebla, Heredia, CR to find the neighborhood. Hot water shower, kitchen, refrigerators, WiFi, quiet, clean, secure. Met my "comfort" standards. Margoth met me at the University taxi queue and showed me around Heredia before taking me to the guest-house. I enjoyed visiting with 3 of the other occupants that spoke really good English. The guest-house is within easy walking distance (5 - 10 min.) of bus transportation. Plenty of local and "international" restaurants, and shopping close-by. The only "minus" is that there is no outside seating to enjoy the CR weather.
Morgoth's house is everything it says in the summary. The house is clean, secure and pleasant. There were four other residents but I didn't see much of them. Margoth appeared once during my week there and gave me helpful advice on local facilities and places of interest to visit. However in her review she said I had an accident in my bed. I would like to qualify that as it could be misunderstood. The bed I was sleeping in was made of wood and quite fragile. While I was sleeping it collapsed and I was cut on the wood splinters. That's not an accident that's a faulty bed.
Margoth has been a huge help during our first few weeks living in Heredia. She gave us great directions from San Jose, picked us up from the bus stop and showed us a little bit of town even before taking us to our lovely room that we rented from her. She's very generous with her time, very patient and has even been helping us look for our own place to live long term. The house is well located, is cleared regularly by the lovely Sonia and is filled with a mix of friendly young people. Thanks for everything Margoth!
Margoth is the most lovely person! She was always very helpful and so friendly! I even ot to know some of her family and everyone was so nice and welcoming! The other people in the house were all very friendly and quiet. I got to talk to some and they were very helpful with questions as well. Nice and comfortable living! I highly recommend staying at Margoth's house! Thank you for everything!
Was in a rush to find a place in Costa Rica. Doño Margoth was more than helpful and provided me with a clean, comfortable place to stay. Here information was excellent.
