Redwood City has plenty of night life with restaurants and bars, a movie theater, and shopping as well as parks with ample hiking and biking paths. It's conveniently located between San Jose and San Francisco and we are very close to the neighboring areas of Woodside, Palo Alto, San Carlos and more. We have lots of maps and brochures of the area as well as recommendations on our local favorites!
We are located on a bus line that will take you to the Redwood City Caltrain Station and connect you to the entire Peninsula. Caltrain also provides easy access to San Francisco, BART, and SFO Airport.
There's a Whole Foods and Safeway close by as well as many restaurant options. We are very close to Stanford University and Sequoia Hospital.
Other Things to Note
Per the City of Redwood City we need to collect a 12% Transient Occupancy Tax on all stays shorter than 30 days. While it would be far easier for both of us if AirBnB collected this tax; at this point in time AirBnB is not able to collect and distribute this tax in accordance with the ordinance. Therefore we will need to collect this additional 12% tax upon your arrival. We apologize for the inconvenience in advance and appreciate your understanding. We continue to work with Airbnb to have this tax collected at the time of booking.
We ask that our guest please help us keep the Studio available for others by adhering to the following house rules:

-Wash and put away any dishes used prior to check out.
-Keep the studio clean and clean up after yourself. Place trash and recycling in their proper place.
-Report any problems or damage directly to Christy or Jeff as soon as possible.
-Keep music and/or noise level within reason to avoid disturbing neighbors.
-Keep windows and doors locked when you're away from the studio.
-Refrain from having more than 4 guests in the unit at anytime (unless agreed to ahead of time). No parties, please.
Thanks again and please always feel free to ask us if you have questions, concerns, or feedback on the Studio.
We enjoy traveling, architecture, sporting events, music, horseback riding, and spending time with family and friends.
We like meeting new people and have been slowly growing our back yard citrus tree garden. If you come at the right time, we'll have fresh limes for your cocktails.
