Interaction with Guests
I am happy to meet guests whenever they arrive at the house. I will give a tour and hand over keys. I am also available if there are any problems. We provide quality towels, fresh sheets and basic amenities.
The home is located at the border of Lowry Hills and Kenwood. These are two of the most affluent neighborhoods in Minneapolis. The homes in the area are stunning! Walk around the Tudor, Victorian and Colonial mansions. The neighborhood is close to downtown and has easy access to the highway. Situated near Lake of the Isles, the streets are quiet and tree lined.
-Walk over to Kenwood or Loring Park. Steps from the sculpture garden with the famous Claus Oldenburg sculpture of a spoon with a cherry.
-'The Kenwood' is a great local spot for brunch or dinner with a fantastic 'farm to table' menu.
-For a special night, book a table at nearby 'La Belle Vie'--Minneapolis' premiere fine dining spot.
-'The Wedge' is the best food co-op in Minneapolis with lots of fruits and vegetables.
-Bike down the Kenilworth trail to the baseball stadium and the hip warehouse district.
-Use the lovely running/walking paths around the lake or on the trail.
There is no better location in Minneapolis.
Buses runs from the Walker to the rest of the city. You can walk or bike around easily. This is a very central location. A car is required for trips to the suburbs or if you are traveling with a family.

Eliza was very responsive. She was especially accommodating when we required a late check-in. The apartment is very spacious.
Great historic apartment in great location! This apartment was perfect for our family of 5. We loved the cozy living room and modern kitchen. Great amenities. Eliza is a wonderful host.
Very comfortable. Pleasant and convenient location. One small full bathroom and 3 bedrooms. Charming older building. Stairway ascent required to second floor location. Large living room and a dining room. Full kitchen with functioning appliances. Free parking was available in back but on-street readily available and more convenient.
My family stayed in Eliza's duplex for 5 nights while in town visiting family over Halloween weekend. It was a great spot for us and worked out perfectly. One of the days we walked to the Walker Art Center and enjoyed some time looking at the exhibits. For the rest of our stay, it was a convenient location to get to our families' homes.
The home is exactly as pictured. The weather outside was cold for us (from LA) but inside the home was nice and comfortable. I had been wondering about this when we arrived since it's an older home, but it was truly fine.
I would recommend this space to anyone else needing a home base in Minneapolis.
Great neighborhood. Close to downtown and highways. Wonderful apartment.
Eliza's place was in an upscale and quiet neighborhood. It was within walking distance to the Walker art museum and sculpture park. You could even walk downtown from there if you chose. Her place was clean and as advertised. We enjoyed our stay.
Eliza provided all the necessities and several extras in the apt. For our 5 nights we were comfortable, close to downtown and parking was easy. We would recommend the apt to others. Thanks Eliza!

I am a New Yorker who recently moved to Minneapolis. The city is great place to bike, eat Thai food and visit the co-ops. I am also an avid mushroom hunter if you need recommendations for foraging.
