The Space

This is a large private room (larger than my listing with the king bed) with a queen sized memory foam bed, a desk, a closet, a dresser, and an arm chair. Rental includes access to the common areas which include a fully stocked kitchen (food not supplied), 2 living areas with several couches for seating, a large 42 inch flat screen TV with cable, a dining area, and much more! For more specifics, read on:

Bedroom Includes:
-A super-comfy queen bed
-Plenty of dresser and closet space
-Sliding glass door access to the balcony
-A desk
-An arm chair

Apartment Includes:
-Plenty of delicious home-brewed beer
-Wooden burning fireplace
-Access to a hot tub, weight room, and free laundry facilities
-Large flat screen TV with Xfinity cable/On Demand
-Free wi-fi access
-1960s cabinet style record player
-Fully stocked kitchen
-Right on the orange bus line which will take you straight to the base of the resort (only runs in the winter).
-Walking distance from all the bars downtown

Aside from the resort, there are all kinds of things to do within about 10 minutes. The location is perfect, being only about 1/4 mile from the National Forest.
Winter: Downhill ski, cross country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, dog sled, sled in the park downtown, beer tasting at The Library, live music at Ullr's Tavern
Summer: Hike, mountain bike (cross country or downhill), road bike, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, live music in the park every Thursday, drive to the top of the continental divide on Corona Pass Road, beer tasting at The Library, live music at Ullr's Tavern

This is a 3 bedroom apartment, so be aware there may be someone else staying in one of the rooms during your stay. For this room, that does mean you may have to share the bathroom if anyone has rented the other room (the third room does have a private bathroom). If you are worried about the potential of other guests, you can always book out the two rooms! I also just adopted a dog, so this may not be the best place if you have pet allergies.

  • Jeff is my kind of people. His place was exactly what I wanted after being in the mountains for days. His place is cozy and homey, yet large and spacious. Loved it. Great host!

  • Had a good time staying at Jeff's place. Very nice guy, condo is located a short walk from town which was very convenient. Jeff has a good handle on local bike trails so he was a nice resource for local rides. We even managed to get out for a ride with Jeff during our stay.

  • When you get offered a beer upon arrival, you know you're in for a great stay! Jeff is a wonderful host, was very accommodating with my allergies, and was very helpful throughout my stay in Winter Park. The beds were comfy and the apartment is clean and was everything a traveler could ask for. I would love to stay there again next season. Thanks for hosting Jeff!

About
I just started an online retail business, Moonshine Distiller (AirBnB won't let me put the web address, so (website hidden) it if you're curious). Brewing has really taken off in the past couple decades, and I would love to see distilling do the same. The first step is getting people involved in it! Skiing is amazing. It is the one thing I have loved unconditionally since I was 1. And now I do it for a living. Biking, also something I have loved forever (since I was 3, without training wheels). And now I do it for a living. Whitewater boating, also something I have loved (since I was 8). And now I do it for a living. I really enjoy hanging out with people and having a good time, being social and all, but at the same time I am just as content to being solitary. I am very passionate about the music I like. I love the outdoors. I love beer and can appreciate all forms of it; good/bad, expensive/cheap, or dark/light. If there is a beer on tap that I have not had, you can bet I will be trying it. I often like to make life more difficult for myself. I am thrifty. When I ask people, "If I were an animal, what would I be?" The most common response is an eagle/falcon/hawk or a cheetah. I love different cultures, which is why I love traveling and hosting people. I love to cook. I love to make beer. I love being my own handyman. I just enjoy doing things myself.
