The space

-Walking distance from all the bars downtown
-Depending upon the season, up to 2 wonderful room mates

Aside from the resort, there are all kinds of things to do within about 10 minutes. The location is perfect, being only about 1/4 mile from the National Forest.
Winter: Downhill ski, cross country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, dog sled, sled in the park downtown, beer tasting at The Library, live music at Ullr's Tavern
Summer: Hike, mountain bike (cross country or downhill), road bike, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, live music in the park every Thursday, drive to the top of the continental divide on Corona Pass Road, beer tasting at The Library, live music at Ullr's Tavern.

Unfortunately, it is a 3 bedroom apartment so there will probably be someone else staying in one of the rooms during your stay. Due to this, I can make no guarantees as to the cleanliness of the common areas (and is the reason I am a lot cheaper than everything else in this area!). For this room, that also does mean there is the potential to be sharing a bathroom. Additionally, I have the room listed as accommodating 4, but that is primarily for couples travelling with children (4 adults would be a squeeze in this room!). I do have an air mattress that I can blow up for a third adult and/or kiddos. I also just adopted a dog this past summer, so this may not be the best place if you have pet allergies.

The bar: I pride myself in having a relatively well stocked bar, and I'd like to keep it that way! Feel free to utilize the bar during your visit, but be sure to leave something else for others to enjoy.

Jeff was very nice and I was even able to use the common area to invite my friends over to watch football.

Jeff is a good host and the place is clean and private. Would recommend, thanks.

I could not check in as the dog was alone in the Apt and was barking and growling. I did not want to deal with an angry dog, so I had to go elsewhere. The host did not return my phone call and only return my text after hours of having reached out to him and when I was already at a hotel.

Want to have more of a "locals" experience? Then stay at Jeff's! I lived in WP in the past and it was reminiscent of past times. Shared bathroom w other guests, in walking distance of restaurants and bars, easy access to the mountain. Bed was comfortable and Jeff's dog Zia was very sweet once we got to know each other and we enjoyed a few nice walks. All in all positive experience!

My husband and I had a great time in Winter Park for our Anniversary. When we arrived Jeff was a work and didn't come home till after we went to bed. So we had the place to ourselves the first night which was nice. The second night he had some friends staying with him but they left and we once again had the place to ourselves. We only saw Jeff briefly but he was very friendly. He did talk to me about a month before we came and helped to answer my questions about Mountain Biking in the area and places to eat. It was very helpful. The kitchen and bathroom are nice. I would recommend his place for a low budget get away. It may not be the most private or nicest place, but fit the budget and turned out to be good.

Not that nice of a place, but you get what you pay for. I didn't see anyone the whole time I was there.

I just started an online retail business, Moonshine Distiller (AirBnB won't let me put the web address, so it if you're curious). Brewing has really taken off in the past couple decades, and I would love to see distilling do the same. The first step is getting people involved in it!

Skiing is amazing. It is the one thing I have loved unconditionally since I was 1. And now I do it for a living.

Biking, also something I have loved forever (since I was 3, without training wheels). And now I do it for a living.

Whitewater boating, also something I have loved (since I was 8). And now I do it for a living.

I really enjoy hanging out with people and having a good time, being social and all, but at the same time I am just as content to being solitary.

I am very passionate about the music I like.

I love the outdoors.

I love beer and can appreciate all forms of it; good/bad, expensive/cheap, or dark/light. If there is a beer on tap that I have not had, you can bet I will be trying it.

I often like to make life more difficult for myself.

I am thrifty.

When I ask people, "If I were an animal, what would I be?" The most common response is an eagle/falcon/hawk or a cheetah.

I love different cultures, which is why I love traveling and hosting people.

I love to cook. I love to make beer. I love being my own handyman. I just enjoy doing things myself.
