Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
This beautiful barn was originally built in 1915 and has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its charm while offering modern comfort. Guests love the sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains to the east and the peaceful setting surrounded by thousands of acres of rich Montana farmland.
Located in the Creston area, just east of Kalispell, the property offers a quiet, rural feel while still being close to town and area attractions.

The space
This beautiful old barn was moved to its current location in 2007, and in 2015 it was thoughtfully renovated into a warm, comfortable, and truly unique living space. Honey’s Place, named after our Dog Honey-The Star, sits in a scenic valley east of Kalispell at the base of the Swan Mountain Range, offering breathtaking views and peaceful country surroundings.
Guests are often surprised by the interior — the design is distinctive and inviting, and you’ll never feel like you’re staying in a barn built in 1915. I had a clear vision for how this space could feel, and that vision truly came to life. From this location, you’ll enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets, along with wide-open skies and quiet evenings.
Your home away from home is perfectly situated between the area’s top attractions. You’re just minutes from Bigfork, an eclectic lakeside town at the north end of Flathead Lake, and within easy reach of Glacier National Park with its unforgettable vistas. Whitefish and Kalispell, known for their shops, dining, and year-round activities, are also nearby.
After a full day of exploring the Flathead Valley, unwind in the four-person hot tub, perfect for relaxing under the stars. Enjoy a cold beverage while stargazing from the hot tub area or the second-story deck, and take in the calm of a quiet country evening.
Honey’s Place comfortably sleeps up to four guests. The upstairs features a king bed, a queen bed, and a cozy area suitable for children with a full-size bed. The fully stocked kitchen includes everything you need for entertaining or enjoying a quiet meal at home. The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living areas create a welcoming space to gather and relax.
Outdoor seating is available for morning coffee while watching the sunrise or for dinner while soaking in the surrounding scenery. The bathroom and laundry combination includes a roomy custom tile shower for added comfort.
And one special tradition we love:
Don’t forget to bring an old license plate from your state, signed by you. It will be placed in the rafters for all guests to enjoy — and in return, you’ll receive a Montana-made gift as a keepsake from your stay.

Guest access
All the barn is expansive outdoor space designed for quiet enjoyment, including a dedicated area for intimate evening campfires. The setting offers complete privacy, paired with sweeping views of the Whitefish Mountain ski area and a night sky filled with millions of stars. Whether you’re unwinding fireside or simply taking in the stillness of the countryside, the experience is both refined and deeply relaxing.
