  • This was our second stay at Bed and Breakfast In-the-Park and Tom provided the same gracious welcome, comfortable room, delicious breakfast and beautiful weather as before. Tom is a respectful, conscientious host and our stay was great. We would definitely come back again and recommend B and B In-the-Park to friends.

  • The neighborhood is outstanding--we walked to the Japanese Garden and took the bus downtown to Powell's. The house is modest but comfortable. Tom is a travel agent by trade and an interesting(and interested) host. I suppose he is required to say that the bath is shared, but it's shared with him only, and he kept a very low profile, so in effect it was a private bath. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

  • Staying with Tom was wonderful! He was such a great host and extremely understanding and flexible of things that came up during my stay. The quiche for breakfast in the mornings is also AMAZING to say the least, and the bed was soft, warm, and comfortable. Commuting to and from the room was very easy, with the bus stop right outside on weekdays, and a short stroll away on weekends. I would definitely come back again for future trips to Portland!

  • Tom was great! He was very accommodating and the house and room were immaculate and professional. We were able to walk to downtown and the Pearl district within 30 minutes, and the gardens next door made for a great stroll. Tom was very helpful with his advice. Breakfast was delicious, as well. We will definitely consider Bed and Breakfast In-the-Park for future visits.

  • Tom was a great host. He was so willing to share information about the area. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning. Yum!
The home is located in a great Portland neighborhood--great for morning runs (if you like hills, lovely homes, and/or exploring trails into the park) and close enough for a good walk down hill into town, cutting through the park. We loved the location. Everything was clean and comfortable. Thanks Tom!
