Our sharehouse is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the bustling city, a great base to explore Tokyo from, with Japanese & Western style rooms. If you know anything about Tokyo houses, you'll be surprised at how much space you'll have too!
We can offer you a private room:
・When you have more than 4 people, you can use an extra room if you want. (But you need to pay for the room.)
・A quiet district on the outskirts of Tokyo, with easy rail access to the city centre. Ōta is also home to the famous 700-year-old Ikegami Honmon-Ji temple.
・3 minute walk to the serene Tama River, which forms the border between Tokyo Prefecture and Kanagawa Prefecture.
・5 minute walk to Seven Eleven and Family Mart convenience stores (open 24/7).
・A medium grocery store sits opposite our house, so you can buy groceries really easily.
・Kamata Station (Keihin Tohoku Line) - 20 minute walk.
・Yaguchi no watashi Station (Tokyu Tamagawa Line) - 10 minute walk. We'll happily pick you up at our nearest station (the second one) if at all possible.
【Travel Time to Major Stations】・Tokyo Station: 40 minutes ・Shibuya Station: 30minutes ・Akihabara Station: 40 minutes ・Shinjuku Station: 40 minutes ・Asakusa Station: 50 minutes.
You don't need to rush for check in and out. We are really flexible, so please feel free to ask for questions.
Guest room, living room, kitchen and bathroom.
You will be free to use our wifi, washing machine, towels and toiletries during your stay.
Being a sharehouse, we also have a larger kitchen with more amenities than most Tokyo apartments. Naturally, you're very welcome to make use of our sandwich toaster, electric oven etc etc.
Interaction with Guests
We are 5 young adults - 4 Japanese and 1 British - and we all speak at least a little English, 3 of us fluently. Even the British guy.
We all enjoy meeting travelers and swapping stories and thoughts, and there is usually somebody around most of the the time. Of course, if you just want somewhere quiet to hang out that's fine too!
I am sure you will feel very comfortable staying here in Japan and enjoy seeing what it is like to live as local people do.
Our place is in Ōta, which is between Tokyo and Yokohama - It's close enough to downtown Tokyo for easy access, but far enough from the centre that you can relax while you're home.
Trains are the best way to get around the Tokyo area, and we are about 10 minutes walk from the station.
If you have trouble finding your way around, any of us will happily help you.
There are no rules in particular. Anyone is welcome as long as they can keep a minimum level of respect. (During the night do not make a racket, do not break things, etc.)
I stayed here for five days and it was a lovely place! Yuki was funny and everyone here were friendly! You can even share your travel experiences to them or ask for some information if you need! Besides, the space was beautiful and huge!! I think I will visit here again next time!
Yuki and his housemates were great. It was a nice quiet neighborhood, not too far from Haneda airport.
Yuki was very flexible in booking when my flight was delayed and I needed somewhere affordable to spend the night. Would definitely stay again.
I want to walk by the Tama river.
Yuki and his roommates were all very nice and welcoming. The house is fantastic, and a great place to be. When I come back to Tokyo, I will be looking for Yuki's place again!
Stayed with Yuki for 8 days over Christmas and New Years. Didn't see him that often as he works most of the time but the times that we did see him he was very helpful and was able to help us out with our sim cards and translate some emails. Room is adequate and the location is beautiful (even if 30 mins from the city centre).
I stayed in Yuki's place for one night and it was great! Enjoyed his comfy/clean/warm room. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. 10 min walk to metro station, very convenient. Yuki was nice and he replied really fast and answered every question clearly. Highly recommend this place!
Clear and detailed communication all through the trip. Definitely recommended!
