Interaction with Guests
We are 5 young adults - 4 Japanese and 1 British - and we all speak at least a little English, 3 of us fluently. Even the British guy.
We all enjoy meeting travelers and swapping stories and thoughts, and there is usually somebody around most of the the time. Of course, if you just want somewhere quiet to hang out that's fine too!
I am sure you will feel very comfortable staying here in Japan and enjoy seeing what it is like to live as local people do.
Our place is in Ōta, which is between Tokyo and Yokohama - It's close enough to downtown Tokyo for easy access, but far enough from the centre that you can relax while you're home.
Trains are the best way to get around the Tokyo area, and we are about 10 minutes walk from the station.
If you have trouble finding your way around, any of us will happily help you.
There are no rules in particular. Anyone is welcome as long as they can keep a minimum level of respect. (During the night do not make a racket, do not break things, etc.)
