Bright and spacious room in quiet residential area, ideal for those who need to reach Leonardo Da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino), Parco De Medici Business Centre (WFP), the new Fiera di Roma or to remain close to the GRA.
Fully furnished bright room with a balcony and a private bathroom.
It is on the third floor and has a desk, a wardrobe and a queen size bed (plus extra pull-up single bed if needed).
Fully equipped kitchen and living room with all modern amenities, plus a flower-filled balcony/sitting area.
This apartment is in a very quiet complex about 15 minutes walk or a few minutes by bus to Muratella train station (train from/to Airport Leonardo Da Vinci 10 minutes, Fiera di Roma 5 minutes, Trastevere Station 15 minutes) less than 20 minutes walk from Parco de Medici business centre.

The apartment is shared with a young and fun Italian girl who speaks fluent English, a bit of French, Spanish and German...myself ;)
I will be very happy to advice you and help you with anything you might need while travelling around Italy!
Entering a country as a foreigner can bring about a mix of emotions including excitement, joy, as well as nervousness. Especially in a place like Rome where, not speaking Italian, one could get lost. This is probably how I can describe my first set of emotions upon arriving at Fiumicino airport in Rome. However, Elisa went out of her way to come receive me exactly on time and as per the described meeting place. Having traveled around the world, Elisa is aware of cultural differences and was the best possible host. She even organized a trip for me (an agricultural economist) to visit her parent's farm. The house itself was conveniently located near the Muratella railway station but Elisa picked up and dropped me back home from the station (only 3 stops to the centre of the city). The room is exactly as seen in the pictures - very clean, quite and comfortable. The balcony gives a spectacular view of the mountains at the horizon as well as sunrise. While maintaining the standards of a nice hotel room, Elisa has managed to retain the homely atmosphere which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Since I was new in town, Elisa even took me to hang with her lovely friends. All in all, I loved my stay at her place and I if I visit Italy again, I will definitely repeat my stay at her room. Thank you Elisa!
The apartment is big, clean, and homey, and Elisa is an excellent host! She really goes the extra mile to make people feel welcome. She offered to pick me up at the train station and, when I told her I'd have to take a taxi (I missed the last train due to a flight delay), she informed me of the right fare to avoid scams. She gave me three different pillows so I could choose the one that was most comfortable for me, and she even told me to pick anything from her kitchen pantry for my breakfast. Definitely recommended!
Elisa is an amazing host! She is extremely hospitable and welcoming.
The apartment is very nice. It has also a nice balcony outside where you can sit and have a great view over Rome. It is perfect if you want to work at Parco de Medici where offices of The World Food Programme, Wind, etc. are located. The train station location is also not too far from the apartment.
The stay was great. Grazie for everything!
Elisa's room is big and clean. The bathroom is not in the bedroom but exclusive for the guest only. No sharing with other guests. She is very informative, helpful and very accommodating. She made us feel at home. Walking to the train station takes about 10 minutes, the only problem is that it is not that easy as there is no pedestrian sidewalk along the road. However, she offered a few times to pick us up and drop us off. She also offered her private parking spot for us, that took away our headache.
Nos recibió muy bien y nos sentimos a gusto durante la estadía.
Elisa was beyond amazing. Though I only stayed for one night, it was such a pleasant stay. I was arriving from Florence only needing one night because my flight left early next morning. Elisa offered very detailed, and easy, directions that got me from Termini to her nearest station flawlessly. She even offered to pick me up, this meant so much to me after spending a week walking through two cities (solo travel). By car she lives about 7 or more minutes from the station and about 20 minutes from the airport.
The apartment is very homie, comfortable and clean. I did not experience the mosquito issue I had read in a previous review, though Elisa does provide repellent just in case. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. Her building is secured with locked gates and doors that one would need a key to enter.
The bed is very comfortable, I slept like a baby, and you will have a private bathroom. Elisa offered me the use of her pantry to make coffee if I needed.
She made my last night in Rome so memorable. She invited me to dinner at her parents home where I met her brother and some friends. Nice evening of chatting and great food.
The next morning she drove me to airport, for a small fee, which I did not mind at all- We were able to chat a bit more.
Thank you, Elisa!

Ciao my dear future guests!
My name is Elisa and I am 30 years old.
I currently live in Rome, my city, but until a few years ago I lived overseas travelling, working, studying and gaining the most extraordinary and worthy experiences that only backpacking can give you. That was my life for almost ten years until I decided to come back to my home town Rome, I guarantee I was not home-sick, nor I was missing anything or anyone... I decided to come back to support my parents in a family business that needed youth to be carried on and implemented.
I am also a sport person, in particular for the past few years I have been involved in beach volley training in Rome, an amazing sport that get you addicted straight away!
I also like photography very much, however stuck in Rome for the moment my inspiration has run low :(
Travelling however, stays by all means what I love the most in life! And as a fundamental aspect of it, receiving and giving hospitality.
While travelling I experienced hospitality many times, and I have beautiful memories of places where I stayed and people that hosted me, those images were often more impressed than the actual area I was visiting. I also ended up in the hospitality industry long time ago and worked in a few hotels as a receptionist, a job I deeply loved. Since then running a hospitality business has been my dream...
I hope to be able one day in my home country, to give back to my guests that welcomy and friendly hospitality I have received elsewhere, especially because I realise how difficult and confusing the impact with the Italian attitude can be for travellers! I believe Airbnb is a fantastic link to start doing it!
They ask for my motto...I have many short, long...let's say I encourage myself to believe in power of simplicity, honesty, modesty however staying ambitious and in keeping a smile on as much as I can :)
