Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We had a wonderful stay with Dara. We particularly appreciated that she took us in on very short notice and made us feel so welcome. The room was quiet and comfortable and though not exactly private it certainly felt like having our own space. Dara is a fascinating person and we discovered many lovely connections. We enjoyed meeting Jenny the sweet little dog (a bit barky at first but we quickly made friends). The location feels very secluded but is actually quite close to the highway, which made it easy to access. Our experience reminded us of why we like Airbnb - a comfortable room, clean bath and a very interesting hostess. Like staying with a friend we only just met.

  • Beautiful house and great host. Thanks to Dara and Lee for hosting us and providing great recommendations.

  • Dara was a lovely host and we felt very welcome staying at her home. The view from the terrace is magnificent and the place is quiet and secluded. You can experience true peace here and the energy is so grounding.

  • Dara was a great host and her space was just what we were looking for. She was responsive and accommodating at every point. Unfortunately, we ended up having to arrive late and leave early because of our own schedule, but Dara and her husband were gracious and understanding, greeting us at the door late in the evening and waking up early on a Sunday to bake muffins that we ended up grabbing on the go. Under the circumstances, we probably shouldn't have squandered our stay when we had such a tight schedule, but it was so much better sitting and having coffee on the porch with her hummingbirds than having coffee in some chain motel that caters to early risers.

  • I loved staying with Dara. She was a perfect host taking time to sit and chat with me and my daughter about her writing profession. She made us hot coffee in the morning with muffins and butter. The room was cozy and clean with a choice of wonderful books. The shower was hot and the bathroom clean. All in all it was perfect!

  • We had a great weekend at Dara's. What a beautiful part of New York State to visit.
Everything was great- and siting on the deck in the sunshine admiring the spectacular view was really special.

  • Dara is very polite and helpful, and the room was simple, clean and sufficient for a night's stay.

In honesty, I felt that the price was a bit higher than the value we received, but this may be due to demand in the area.

  • My mother and I stayed in Dara's home while taking a weekend workshop at Omega. Since we were at Omega most of the day, we only came back to the house to sleep but our experience was very good. The house and the location was extremely peaceful and quiet which was a great way to start and end our days. Thanks again!
