A few words from Chris and Audrey...
Our inn is located in the center of hundreds of acres of working vineyards. This means that while you are our guest vineyard work may be happening. This could mean the plowing of aisles, spraying of the vines or cutting back of the leaves. Of course harvesting and other chores must occur as well. Sometimes the work happens during the day, sometimes the work occurs at night.
It's a special treat to be a part of the wine making process, however we do want you to be prepared that work may be happening during your stay :)
Our stay could not have been more enjoyable. Chris and Audrey were gracious hosts and gave us great information about the area. They even arranged a private behind the scenes tour for us at a small winery nearby. Chris and Audrey made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their home is beautiful and our accommodations were fantastic - even better than anticipated. Each breakfast was fresh and delicious!
The memory we will cherish is the relaxing time spent on the front porch discussing life and family. My wife and I are already discussing out return trip to "Inn the Vineyard".
Lovely accommodation, Chris and Audrey made us feel really welcome. Great location; very peaceful.
We had the most wonderful time staying on the Vineyard with Audrey and Chris. Their hospitality and kindness was unparalleled. Lovely chats on the porch in the morning and at sunset. Great rooms, complete with private baths and luxurious bedding. The homemade breakfasts were delicious. We honestly could not have asked for a better place to celebrate Owen's birthday weekend. Stay here if you get the chance. You'll feel right at home.
I was running my first full marathon in Santa Rosa, and I could've have chose a better place to stay - Chris, Audrey and their daughter Kaitlyn even came out to cheer for me along the route! Kaitlyn even made me a home made sign taped to the door for me to see when I left in the morning.
They were all super warm and sweet, and welcomed us into their home as if we were all old friends. In the morning, we ate a delicious home cooked meal together, and in the evening had wine and homemade peach cobbler on the patio. I should mention the grounds are just gorgeous - definitely do not miss the great sunset from the patio.
The house was literally right in the middle of a vineyard, just as described. The rooms even looked better than the pictures. They had all of these cute finishing touches that most places wouldn't even think of, like lots of old books in the room, a cute notepad on the desk, and both stylish and comfortable bedding.
Communication wise, Audrey was always super quick to respond and was very patient with all of my questions. One note: It is hard to find, so definitely print out the directions you get with the reservation confirmation to bring with you (I couldn't access it on my iphone app while we were on the road). I didn't print it out with me, so I had to call her multiple times to figure out where it was... again, super glad she was very responsive and patient with us on this.
I would definitely come back here in a heart beat for my next wine country get away and have already recommended them to a few friends. I just hope they don't get too popular that it will become impossible to book soon! ;)
Staying at the Inn the Vineyards exceeding all of my expectations. Chris and Audrey are fantastic people, and make you feel right at home as soon as you enter the house. The house was absolutely beautiful both inside and out. Breakfast was fantastic both mornings I was there. I have already recommended Inn the Vineyards to many of my friends, and I know for certain that I will be back there soon.
Chris and Audrey are warm and gracious hosts. Their home is charming and set in an idyllic setting amid vineyards. The location is beautiful, relaxing and is the perfect retreat... We were in town for a wedding at a Healdsburg winery and the distance from their home to the venue and other wineries in Sonoma was ideal. Breakfast was also delicious. We would not hesitate to stay in their lovely home again!
My husband and I had such a delightful retreat to Chris and Audrey's home for our anniversary! Audrey was so accommodating and gave us some last minute ideas to fit our go-with-the-flow attitude. We enjoyed chatting with them in the evening over a glass of wine and delicious cookies, and breakfast on the patio was absolutely delicious! It is obvious that these two have a passion for people and love opening their door to travelers. We wouldn't visit wine country any other way! Thank you for the wonderful mini vacation, and for calming my nerves as it was our first time leaving our baby. We will be back!
