Interaction with Guests
We try to introduce ourselves to the guest and give them the keys. If we can't, we try to guide them through the check-in process.
We love that the neighborhood is in a great neighborhood that supports diversity, art, and a family atmosphere. We also love that the condo is located in such a way that you can easily jump on the Max train or bus line, get on any freeway going East or West, North or South. Also, we love the Montavilla neighborhood that is continually growing with new, up-and-coming restaurants, markets, and a theater.
Yes, 2 blocks away is the Max train and bus lines.
Please, absolutely no smoking or animals. The apartment is nicely furnished and comfortable. We ask for respect to all furniture and amenities we provide. We would like you to treat the house as if you owned it. Also, please be respectful of the neighbor's...we would like the apartment to be quiet time between 10 pm and 8 am. Also, please do not treat our home like a hotel. This means, leaving trash or clothing on the counters, floor or bed, harming the furnishings, stealing books, magazines, or art, throwing towels on the ground, or leaving dirty dishes. Be thorough, and don't forget your belongings under the bed, in the bed, bathroom, or other living spaces.
This was a nice stay! The apartment was clean and full of light. Jeff and Carrie left us some breakfast foods and wine, which made us feel so welcome. I loved being able to look out on the garden, and to walk everywhere I needed to go. The neighborhood is north of the city, but everything is very accessible by public transportation or car, and we enjoyed the quieter neighborhood feeling. I'd definately stay again next time I'm in Portland.
My stay at Jeff and Carrie's was great. The condo was exactly as described and they provided some light breakfast items that were much appreciated. The condo is within walking distance to the metro train making it very convenient. For people with a car, it is a short drive to downtown. Jeff and Carrie were very responsive when I had any questions. It was a pleasure getting to stay at their lovely condo.
We had a great experience one again. Jeff always responded quickly to our questions. They welcomed us with breakfast foods, the studio was warm when we walked it and lightened. It was very clean and welcoming. My husband and I had a great time.
The place was great... comfy room and nice kitchen. Large enough bathroom and plenty of light. Parking was easy and the location close to the highways meant easy access to other parts of portland as well as the surroundings. Thanks for having us!!
What a lovely, cozy place! It looked just like the photos, was super clean and had lots of breakfast goodies in the fridge.
Carrie and Jeff texted me to make sure I got in okay and if I had any questions -- which was very thoughtful.
There's not much to do in the area, but it's easy access to other Portland neighborhoods.
I will definitely stay here again!
Jeff and Carrie have a beautiful, well furnished apartment that was a joy to stay in. They provided some breakfast items in the fridge and had all necessary appliances to feel at home. Overall our stay was wonderful. We had an excellent time exploring the nearby area and trying as many restaurants as possible. Thank you Jeff and Carrie, you have provided an awesome space for guests!
very comfortable, great bed, great location, very welcoming with a fridge full of breakfast food that I discovered a bit late. pretty quiet for an apartment complex except if you are a light sleeper, at night you can hear toilets flushing on and off. Overall I would return again!
Jeff- I am a local, Portland native! I just finished graduate school from a local university, Concordia, GO CAVS! I'm an Art/ceramics Teacher at a SE Portland High School. I just got married to Carrie, who helps me manage the Air Bnb condo:) We love Portland because we are close to the mountains, beach, museums, culture, vineyards, and most of all, the best dining in the United States. We love the condo and wish we could enjoy the recent remodel and improvements. We are about to start to remodel in our 1950's transitional bungalow home. We live very close to the condo, so it's easy to manage it, and will always be available to help anyone staying there.
Carrie- Is a Fine Wine Salesperson for a local distribution company. I am from Montana, but have lived in Portland since 2001. I have a passion for fine dining, wine, cooking, gardening, and the good life. Nothing is more important to me than sharing with friends and family over a nice dinner, good conversation, and wine.
Thanks and we hope you enjoy our home!
