My sister and I visited Cleveland so that I could do some medical appointments at Cleveland Clinic. We met Deb on our first day (of course) and I knew right away that this was a person I could have been friends with for life - we were just born in different cities!
The apartment is just as described -- I might mention that this is a home that was built to have a second floor apartment so there are no excuses about room sizes being funny or a kitchen not were it belongs etc. The apartment is beautiful and very spacious. It is VERY CLEAN!!! The rooms are very generous in size with high high ceilings. The building is located on a popular street that provides good access to the city (we were at Cleveland Clinic in about 20 minutes) There is no traffic noise (buildings of this age were properly built and the building is well back from the road). The neighborhood has many homes of similar size - all very well maintained. HERE IS A BONUS - Lake Eire is less than a mile away - its an easy walk from Deb's place to public access to the lake.
I should mention as well that access to downtown Cleveland and all its attractions, to the medical centers and Universities is extremely easy. By car, within 20 minutes, we could reach any place we wanted to go.
I will be back to the Clinic in the future and I will not think of staying any place else - I just hope Deb's Clifton Home will be available.
House is in a great location bery nice neighbourhood just 5 minutes outside of downtown Cleveland and was basically an entire upstairs apartment with everything you would want or need. The host was very nice and overall was a great experience and would definitely stay here again.
This was our first Airbnb experience. We stayed here with my parents for 3 days and it was truly a home away from home. Debbie was a wonderful hostess! Her place is clean, spacious and organized with everything we could have asked for. It is close to downtown and some pretty good restaurants. It made for a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend staying with them if you are in the area. Thank you Debbie and René for being so great and welcoming!
I was visiting the Rock Hall with an old high school friend, and Deborah's two bedroom apartment was perfect for us. The apartment is spacious, the older building is full of character, and the neighborhood is quiet. Proximity to a lakeside park was an added bonus!
Debbie was a great host! Very friendly and welcoming. Her place was very clean, well-decorated, and we felt at home immediately. The location is perfect for going downtown and exploring. I would recommend Debbie as a host for anyone hoping to spend some time in Cleveland!
Our family of four stayed here over a long weekend. Debbie was very pleasant and her place was spacious and comfortable -- it felt like our home while we were there. We will definitely stay there again!"
About the Host, Deborah
Hello I am Debbie, a happily retired Cleveland Police Officer! I am a longtime resident of Cleveland and very familiar with old as well as new attractions. As a Horse Massage Therapist, I currently volunteer at a horse rescue shelter and at a horse therapeutic riding camp for developmentally disabled children. I enjoy reading, watching movies and walking at the park. As a hostess, I value others privacy. In a nutshell, I am quiet and yet most helpful.
