Wine Country Exclusive! This place was amazing and really convenient! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a wedding in Sonoma and we loved it, wish we could have stayed longer! Carol is an amazing host and more then accommodated us! Would recommend to all for a nice retreat! We plan on staying again in the future!
We really enjoyed our stay in the bamboo bungalow. Once apon a time we lived in the area and found this to be a perfect place to stay while visiting friends. I think it would be a great place to stay for someone visiting the greater Sonoma County wine area as well. It's located very close to downtown Cotati, Rohnert Park, and 101 access, but feels very rural. We were traveling with an infant and Carol was nice enough to provide us with a pack n play! The rest of the acomidations were very nice and clean too. We would definitely return.
Carol's place was fantastic and better than it was pictured. They own a landscaping business so the property is full of exotic plants and tons of bamboo.
Carol is an excellent host, the place was very clean and well decorated with all the necessary accoutrements you would ever need. My only regret is I didn't have the pleasure of meeting her in person.
The host made us feel sooo welcome! They provided some wonderful fruit and scones not to mention the fresh chicken eggs from their free roaming chickens for our first breakfast so we would not have to rush into town to go shopping.
They were both receptive, very warm and friendly. It was more than what we were hoping for.
The photos were very nice but when we arrived they did not do the bungalow and the grounds justice. It was amazing.
The neighborhood was rural farm lands surrounding us and it was so quite and quaint, we just loved it.
Great place, and very welcoming. Carol left lots of breakfast things to enjoy. Cozy and perfect for our needs.
We had the best time at the bungalow. It's clean, which is my biggest thing, among other things. Quaint, the perfect size, and had a picture of sunflowers (my favorite) on the wall.
I never got to meet Carol unfortunately but she was super helpful by phone to let us know everything we needed to know.
She even left us some breakfast food and milk and some other essentials like clean towels, shampoo, and toothpaste.
I had a great experience. I can't wait to visit the bungalow again in the future.
Also - for those who want to take advantage of wine country, this is a great place to stay. Sonoma and Napa are pretty close so it's totally doable.
Thanks again, Carol! I will definitely be back!
Carol was extremely welcoming! She gave us a thorough orientation to the studio (including the various challenging to find light switches), as well as stocked the fridge with delicious organic berries and fresh eggs from her free-range chicken. When we had a plumbing issue, Carol was totally on top of it, getting a plumber out to fix it before we returned from a wine tasting excursion. The studio was well appointed, cozy, and located centrally between Santa Rosa (Russian River brewing - a must for the beer lover) and Sonoma, and only a 20-30 minute drive to amazing State Parks such as Anadale and Jack London.
About the Host, Carol
My husband and I have a bamboo/palm nursery. It's a quiet and beautiful spot to host our bnb. We love people and enjoy meeting and talking with people.
