About this listing
Affordable little place right in the heart of London. Be in the middle of all the happenings - save your money and time travelling to places. Perfect for the out-and-about traveller! See pictures and read captions to get an idea of the flat's area.
Having holidays in Central London for money far below the Hotel prices is now possible. I have a medium spacious double bedroom to offer in a 2 bed flat located right in the centre of the centre of this great city. Have your own space to relax and rest after a hard day of sightseeing and be back in the middle of the action the next day. The room is a good size for 2 persons and has double bed in it. There is also a basic kitchen (equipped with kettle and microwave only). Access to washing machine can be provided if you are staying for 7 days or more. The living space and WC is shared with a very respectable and friendly lady.
Staying here will affect you in terms of having no public transport cost at all. You are located right in the middle of the most vibrant and liveliest area in London, the West End. Almost everything is within minutes walking distance. Mayfair and Soho for clubbing and going out, Covent Garden, Regent Street and Oxford Street for shopping, linked to the usual sights: Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye. For museum lovers: The British Museum, The National Gallery, Somerset house are all just nearby. There are also countless restaurants, musicals, and theatres surrounding us!
The closest tube stations are Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. Both are about 5mins walk away as we are squeezed right in the middle. There are also various bus lines and an unlimited flow of licensed taxis on Shaftesbury Avenue (1min walk), going to any other part of the city to which you desire. Public transport in this area is very convenient.
Other Things to Note
Central London is a busy place and there are people everywhere. So expect some noise. Ear plugs recommended if you are a light-sleeper. Also, the flat is on the 3rd floor of a walk-up building and the flat itself isn't that big. So if you are looking for 5-star luxury and space, you have come to the wrong listing. But if all this doesn't really bother you and you mainly want the convenience to stay in the middle of all the happenings, you are more than welcome. The location is perfect for out-and-about travellers.
Please Note: Make sure you are ok with the check-in/out times (same as most hotels in London). Towels provided upon request. If you want total privacy, please consider my other listing which is the same location. :)
Hope to see you soon in London, feel free to contact and book at all times!
You are not charged for the cleaning to keep the price down, so please look after the flat during your stay. It doesn't mean that you have to do the cleaning yourself. Oh no... Just don't be too messy. Like staying at a friends house. I'm sure you get the idea. Unfortunately, you will be charged for extra cleaning if the place hasn't been loved. :(
Please do not stand/jump on the bed. There were a few broken like this.
Nobody must stay in the flat except those people who booked on Airbnb.
Guests must not introduce strangers to the building.
Please respect other residents in the building by limiting noise when you come and go up the communal staircase.
Please do not smoke in the flat.
Please do not play loud music or otherwise make loud noise.
Please report any breakages before you leave.
Please do not bring animals to the flat.
Please have a great time staying in my wonderful city!
Oh, ONE more:
Please make yourself/selves at home!
This is the very first time I booked bnb, Allen is so kind to help us with all the problems. The young lady lives in neighbor help us a lot too. Thanks for ur hospitality!
The location is perfect! Save time and save money!
As other reviews note, the best thing about this flat is definitely the LOCATION! You really can't beat being literally in the middle of Chinatown, and minutes away from theaters, Covent Garden, the Seven Dials shops, Trafalgar Square, parks, museums...so much to see and do. The flat itself is fairly simple but I wasn't there expect to sleep. Speaking of, yes, it does get rather loud at night because of foot traffic and a bar across the street, but ear plugs help. More of a consideration was the fact that there wasn't air conditioning and it was a bit stuffy even with a fan. Allen was easy to communicate with when we arrived and met us to help with bags and explain the different keys and such. Overall, I would recommend this place to someone who really planned to be out and about and was focused on doing lots of sightseeing.
I knew the location of the apartment was suppose to be great, and I was not at all not disappointed. Allen was also very accommodating. I can surely recommend the place.
What can I say about allen's place? It's a beautiful, charming little flat in a very busy part of town. I stayed only for one night, but it was the perfect location for everything I wanted to do.
The flat is clean and well kept. The woman who shares the apartment is quiet and rarely seen.
I will say, however, if you are not used to busy cities, you may want to try elsewhere. This location is very busy, and for some reason, London seems to like to collect their trash very early in the morning... Causing a headache!
Otherwise the flat itself is exactly what you need for a central London stay. Walking distance to basically every attraction... Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, London eye, Thames River... Etc
Allen was very friendly from our arrival, he met us at the agreed time and gave us the information we could need during our stay. The place is fantastic, It has an excellent location, and the room has everything you need to be comfortable. I highly recommend the place, it's great. I would definitely book it again.
We had a lovely time staying in Allens apartment. It was clean, cosy, and the location was perfect! We were right in the centre of London!
