  • We spent two nights at Cissy's flat because we wanted to visit our student son. The location close to Jesus College was perfect and it was useful to have a supermarket 2 minutes' walk away. The flat has all you need and the bed is comfortable !

  • Great little flat great location.

  • We booked Cissy's flat for 1 night mainly due to it's location - we wanted to be close to Midsummer House Restaurant as we were having dinner there (the flat is a 5 minute walk through the common), and we brought our 1 year old son so we could be close enough to run home in case the babysitter had any emergencies!
The flat was nice, and the pictures are pretty accurate. It was very tidy and clean, all the necessary amenities were provided, and Cissy was always very prompt in replying to our questions.

The size of the flat is probably best suited for a single person or couple, with 1 child or baby, (even for our standards as we live in London and are used to smaller flats).

As mentioned in previous reviews, the ceilings are low, so my husband (who is 6'1", had to be extra careful when lifting our son up as he could hit his head. The plumbing is also a bit loud, and we had to wait until our son was awake before flushing the toilet or turning on the hot water. But these would never be a problem for us had we not brought our son with us. Just something to keep in mind if you are bringing a child or baby who is a light sleeper!

Overall, we felt Cissy was a fantastic host and we would definitely recommend this flat for a couple or 3 person family looking to stay in a great location close to Midsummer House, as well as close walking distance to central Cambridge and all the shops.

    Thank you Cissy!

  • The place was great and Cissy was very accommodating - allowing us to check out a smidge later and also letting us keep our bags at the place till later in the day.

  • The apartment worked well for us (two adults, one child). It's within easy walking distance of all the Cambridge sights and there's a nice playground about a 7-10 minute walk (email hidden)ere's a grocery store basically right around the corner. Cissy was very responsive prior to our stay and Steve was helpful while we were there. All in all, a very nice stay.

  • I have stayed in this flat on two occasions now while working away from home and am hoping to do so again. It is so much nicer than a hotel room and it's great to be able to cook for myself. Cissy has been great to interact with (friendly, helpful and responds quickly) and the flat is clean, tidy and really convenient for shopping, the park and the river. I highly recommend it!

  • Excellent location and very comfortable accommodation. We didn't meet Cissy as she was away at the time but she kept in touch very well by email and Steve was a great host, very helpful with great local recommendations. I would definitely come back next time.
