We loved staying at Kev's place in Casablanca. We stayed there the first day of our time in Morocco and returned at the end of our time in Morocco. It was amazing having open check-in and check-out so we could come and go when we wanted to catch our train to other cities. It was very comfortable for 4 people and Kev was very responsive to all our needs. I would definitely stay here again!

Completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Electricity issues on the first night as it would turn off every 20 minutes causing power surges to some of our electronics and completely elminating WiFi accessibility. The WiFi stopped working after the first power surge. Kev was reachable but did not offer any solutions to the problems. We slept in a cold apartment because the heating was turned off without electricity. He claimed that someone was sent over to fix the issues and that everything was working fine but by that point we had already moved to a hotel after the first night. Incurring extra expenses just to be able to stay in a place with livable conditions and data roaming charges. I checked to see if the wifi was working when i returned the keys and it still didnt work. I would be very disappointed with air bnb if a refund is not in order. Do not be fooled with the positive reviews the current state of the location is unlivable conditions.

I never actually met Kev but instead met his father, Gad. He was very kind and met me and my friend at Blend burgers right near the place and helped us take our luggage up the stairs to the apartment. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. It feels very European. The location is also prime. It is right across the street from Starbucks, right next to a great burger joint and down the street from a late night noodle spot. It is also within walking distance from a grocery store and a Zara. When we went to use the stove, however, the propane tank was empty. This was initially frustrating but I (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) messaged Gad and within minutes, a service man arrived to check out the scene and then brought us a new propane tank. My only other complaint is about bugs. We did not actually see any but both me and my friend left the apartment with lots of little bug bites. I would definitely recommend this place to people for its cleanliness, location, and the helpfulness of the host.

I was in Morocco on a fellowship since September, and wanted to use Airbnb to rent a place for the last month and a half. Renting here is quite difficult, and full of weird rules, and people are always trying to rip you off - so I chose Airbnb to escape all of that, and have some sort of accountability. Yes, Airbnb is more expensive than actually signing a lease, but I was very happy with my stay. After booking, I communicated with Ghad (not sure about the spelling), Kev's father who is on location in Casa. The apartment was clean and Ghad was usually easy to reach via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). There were often Wifi connection issues, but then I just contacted Ghad and the issue would usually be fixed if not immediately, then within a couple of hours. Overall, I was happy with the apartment. Because it is right off of Blvd D'Anfa, it can be pretty noisy with the traffic. Another drawback - NO ELEVATOR! It is on the third floor (fourth floor if you're coming from America), and if you have a lot of stuff, then that will be pretty difficult. If you have someone to help you, it should be fine.

The host listed was not the person we dealt with, but Ghad greeted us kindly. Upon arrival, we were informed that the apartment we booked was not available due to electrical/internet problems and were taken to another apartment a few blocks away. We only booked a few days in advance, so this was surprising. The other apartment we arrived at was spacious, clean, and well located, so we agreed to stay there. The doorman to the building was especially helpful and kind. Both evenings we stayed, workers asked to come into the apartment in order fix an electrical issue. The first evening they worked into the time we put our children to bed, so we arranged for them to come the next day around 2pm (they had a key, and we locked our belongings in a bedroom). We also noticed as we were locking up for the night that the deadbolt lock on the door was broken, which was a little disconcerting. When we returned that evening they had not come, and came around 7pm asking to work again so we declined as we were leaving the next day anyways. For departure, we were unable to contact the host as to what to do with the key. We tried calling him a few times and texting over a couple of hours without a response, so we decided to to leave the key on the dining table. We knew there was another key from the repairmen, and the front door couldn't be opened without a key, so we hoped this would be okay. We were hoping to tell the doorman, but he was not around when we departed. We never heard back from the host. Overall, our stay was fine, but a little bizarre and lacking in communication.

Lovely, elegant breezy apartment in central Casablanca. Excellent neighborhood near cafes and restaurants. Full of light and very comfortable, in a beautiful building. A wonderful way to experience Casablanca! The Hazout family is generous, discreet, welcoming and make you feel immediately at home.
