The Space

Hello. I have a clean, spacious apartment on offer. A large living room with kitchen, double bedroom and your own bathroom with bath & shower. I live here, most of the time so anything you need, will be glad to help out. Large balcony also, so if you're a smoker...perfect.

Guests can help themselves in the morning to tea or coffee.
If there is beer or wine there, help yourself!

Neighbourhood is quiet and friendly, a 10 minute walk to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre which has a Cinema, Countless Starbucks and all the rest.

We're on all the Bus routes, with a 20 minute hop to the City Centre, and the airport is 20 minutes away also. The buses leave every 10 minutes to the City.

I know the City very well, so if you're looking for something or need to go somewhere, I can guide you there!

  • Simon was very welcoming and friendly. Nice clean apartment and plenty of good parking spaces.Ideal if you have your own car and want to have Dublin as your base.

  • Although Simon wasn't there during our stay, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed meeting his flatmate Richard. Besides, the house was really comfy and Simon had really done a nice job preparing our stay.

The only negative point: we had to search a lot before we could find the place, which is not in the most noticeable part of Dublin. But we managed to find it anyway, somewhere in a lovely neighboorhood.

    Thanks a lot, Simon!

  • If you are interested in a cheap accomodation, not so far from Dublin center, in a quiet area and , mostly, without the necessity of internet or of a participating, willing host, this can be your solution. You can reach the apartment by bus without any problems (39a) and we don't recommend to take a taxy from the airport cause we paid 47 euros, while we were supposed to pay at most 30 euros. The room and the apartment are more than acceptable and so is the house mate Richard, who is very nice. Unluckily me and my boyfriend were in Dublin not for tourism and we chose this accomodation because of its supposed wifi. There is not a wifi in the house at all: the worse thing it is that we asked immediately at our arrival about it and Simon told us that it was a problem of our laptops, and then he disappeared without trying to solve the thing during the days after our arrival. Now we are in another Irish house and we can absolutely confirm our impression: Simon is a lier infact only in his apartment our mobile phones and computers don't work (in our current room is perfect, and also in Starbucks or every free wifi). Everybody can imagine why! This is not a good behaviour and it caused us many problems...

  • Very nice place to stay in Dublin, a bit far from the city (30-40min by bus) but very easy to access and well furnished.
It's been great talking with with you Simon !

  • The room and bathroom was veru spacious and clean. Simon and his house mate, Richard are very nice men. Everything was great other than his appartment is not that close from the city center.

  • Simon's apartment is comfortable, clean and a great value for staying in Dublin. It's definitely a bit out of the city, but easily accessible by bus. Would recommend!

  • Simon was very accommodating to us, especially with our ever-changing plans. House was clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. The bus to the city is frequent but the journey is quite long if traffic is heavy. We took about 40 minutes to get in, most times. Other than that, a great place to stay if you're on a budget!

  • Very clean place and great wine - there were no beers at the time we went there ;-) - Just a little bit far from the city center ; don't forget to get bus 39A which is the only direct one, and not the 39 which takes more time. Thank you Simon for the nice chat. :-)

  • A friend and I stayed with Simon for a few days when we were in Dublin. Everything was very clean and not too far of a walk to the bus stop. Simon was nice enough to walk us from the bus stop to his place. We didn't have a chance to get to know Simon, since he had to go away on business. Our stay was very lovely.

  • Todd and I had the most comfortable and lovely stay with Simon! He was so accommodating and opened up his entire home to us. The entire apartment was very clean and bright, with an array of huge windows letting natural light into every room. There was a large balcony which we enjoyed sitting out on and always hot coffee and tea available! The neighborhood, while a little way out from city center, was well connected and Simon was very helpful in terms of helping us navigate our way in and out of the city. Todd and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Simon and his home to others!
