We provide fluffy towels and high threadcount sheets/linens.
There is a brand new furnace exclusive to the unit that you control and the unit has a large window A/C unit to keep it cool.

Interaction with Guests
We like to greet guests at the door if we are home, but often due to scheduling we have a system for guests to let themselves in. We are always available via text, phone, and email. We often check in once or twice during a stay via text just to make sure everything is OK, but other than that we let our guests set the tone in terms of how much communication they would like to have with us. We are always up for meeting new people, and have even dined with guests at our favorite restaurants, but we know that most often people are looking to relax, do their own thing, and not socialize. We respect our guests privacy and try to keep communication channels open and efficient.
We love our eclectic and diverse neighborhood. Garfield has many art galleries and installations, restaurants, and businesses. It's an area that has seen much revitalization recently, but there are still buildings that are boarded up on our block. We are also experiencing construction on the main street at the moment. We feel that the neighborhood is a great asset to our location, but realize it might not be for everyone.
For guests looking to explore a wide spectrum of Pittsburgh sites and scenes, a car or budget for Uber/Lyft is recommended. With the exception of routes to The Strip and Downtown — which are very convenient — bus travel to other locations, requires translating routes and timetables which can be challenging without a smartphone. Late-night bus service is also limited.
The location is convenient to all East End neighborhoods, Oakland, the Strip, and Downtown. By car or Uber/Lyft we are 5 minutes from Lawrencville, Shadyside, and East Liberty, 10 minutes from The Strip and Oakland, and 10-15 minutes from Downtown and the North Side.
We live right on the 88 bus line that makes it super easy to get downtown and the strip district. The 87 and 86 lines that also run downtown are both a couple blocks away.
Uber and Lyft are also active in Pittsburgh and we are excited that these services can help make transportation better for our guests!
Other Things to Note
Massage Therapy Add On:
Kate is a licensed massage therapist, and she offers in-unit 60 or 90 minute Swedish or Deep Tissue massage sessions if scheduling permits. If you are interested in booking a massage during your stay feel free to message us for more details.
Please treat the space like it's your own ... if you use the kitchen/dishes, please wash, dry, and place back in the cupboards.
Absolutely no smoking and no drugs.
It's appreciated if you strip the sheets off of the bed before checkout and place them in the provided hot pink flower laundry bag [or on the floor of the bathroom] along with any used towels and bathroom floor mat.
We ask that you keep noise to a minimum after 11 pm.
Please ask us if there is something that would make your stay more comfortable. If we don't know ... we can't help!
