Melinda's place was a perfect fit for my needs. Beautiful apartment and great building. Location is ideal, near both Pearl and Alphabet District. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm visiting Portland.
The flat is well located, 10 minutes walk from downtown and 23rd av. area. Both of them are are with a lot of nice restaurants and shops. The location is also great because it is close to the highway, and it is very useful in case you have to leave the city to visit the region.
The flat was clean at our arrival and it has everything you need to enjoy your stay in a wonderful city as Portland.
Very useful also the parking permit! A great plus!
The building is very quiet and no noises have never disturbed us both during the day or night.
This is a great home base for exploring Portland. The kitchen and washer/dryer make it perfect for an extended stay. The condo is in an old charming building, easily walkable to most of NW and with the MAX, streetcar, and multiple buses you can get anywhere else in the city you like.
We had a great trip to Portland and this little portland condo was perfect. Location was perfect, right between downtown, Pearl Dist. and the charming Nob Hill. Condo was perfect size for 2 people, very comfy and had really fun amenities like the claw foot tub! We loved it!
Melinda was a great hostess! When we arrived late at night, she made it easy for us to get into our room. The condo had a beautiful view and was an ideal location, close to lots of breweries and chic downtown eateries. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Melinda also provided a great deal of travel material, and books on Oregon. I would stay here again.
Melinda's place was cozy and comfortable for our recent visit to Portland. We were able to walk to lots of great restaurants and shops, and it was a breeze to get to the train and bus stops. We like to pack light, so we can carry on our bags, and because she has a washer and dryer, we could easily do laundry. There was also lots of closet space and plenty of hangers! Melinda had organized books and Portland informational pamphlets, which was a great plus. The kitchen was tiny, but had everything we need to do a bit of cooking at home. The only problem we encountered was a bit of difficulty keeping the floor dry behind the shower. I think you need one more shower curtain liner behind the faucets and shower head, Melinda, because it's a bit tough getting the liners to stretch behind the end of the tub. Outside of that, everything was just fantastic! Perfect location!
My girlfriend and I stayed in The photos Melinda posted don't do the place justice; it is wonderfully intimate and romantic, and it is within walking distance of almost anything you'd care to see in Portland on the west side of the river.
The building is great, and I would highly recommend this listing for any couple who wants to enjoy a long weekend in America's weirdest city.
Though we never actually talked to Melinda face to face, she made the process of getting in and out very easy. We didn't have a single problem.
