Amazing Host, GREEEEAT apartment !!!
This was my first time using airbnb and I am so happy we got to experience it at Bryan's loft! Bryan was an incredible host, and was accommodating to all of our needs throughout the trip. When we arrived, he met us at the loft, gave us a tour, and even bought us delicious truffles and a bottle of wine! He provided everything we needed- including towels, kitchen utensils, and a list of all his favorite restaurants. My boyfriend and I took advantage of this list, dining at 3 of his suggestions, and we were incredibly pleased with his choices!! Bryan kept in contact with us during our stay making sure everything was in order, and even kept us informed of a snow storm coming our direction so that we could plan our travel home accordingly. Bryan was always available when we had questions and made our stay in his loft feel like we were at home. Bryan's loft is definitely a place where I'll be returning to in the future!
Great host. Extremely comfortable loft; without any hesitation I would stay here again.
Next time...hoping the weather is a bit friendlier so it would be easier to explore the area more. That said, even in the deep cold, within a few blocks there's an amazing array of restaurants and shops in Chinatown (from amazing Noodles, to traditional Chicago pizza, to what may be the best fried Gulf Shrimp I've had (Lawrence's)).
Extremely quick and easy bus access to McCormick Place, which was the catalyst for staying here, but, access to downtown is equally easy.
Beautiful loft with high ceilings: what you see here is exactly what you get. Beyond that, Bryan is a cheerful, courteous, and kind host; he makes himself available to answer your questions and checks in regularly. The loft is situated a brief walk from several bus routes and the metro, and most of the city core is accessible within a half-hour transit ride. We had a lovely time here.
I went to Chicago with my two little sisters and we had a perfect stay in Bryan's loft. Great location in the city, the loft is amazing: clean, comfortable and shiny just as it is on the pics :) We would definitely go back there and recommand the adress to people who would like to discover Chicago.
Plus, Bryan is a great host: despite the problems we had to reach Chicago, he was always available, patient and kind. He answered our questions and he always found a solution!
Bryan and Todd are excellent hosts! The loft space was exactly as pictured and they were/are extremely considerate and accommodating. The apartment is well appointed and they have put together a guest book which gives you a head start on food, transportation, etc.
The only negative (not within their control) was that the shipping yard across the street did a lot of noisy work 2 out of the 3 nights we were there. My guess is that this rarely happens but it does prevent me from giving the full 5 stars. Guests should know that is an outside possibility.
Aside from that, it is easy to grab transportation and to navigate the city while in a quiet, peace and beautiful space. I would definitely stay again.
It is a very nice loft in a good location, and the host Brian is so nice. We have a great stay in this loft, very clean!
Bryan has a fantastic loft with great views of the city. The neighborhood is up and coming and the building is beautiful. Minutes from world famous Chicago style deep dish pizza and everything Michigan Ave has to offer. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.
First time user of airbnb I had the best experience thanks to Bryan. The place is big and warm and comfortable. Everything worked out so well. I was in Chicago on business and I almost didn't want to leave the place to go to work! Bryan was the best host, was always available for advice. Would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Chicago.
We were looking for a place to stay for our honeymoon in Chicago. We found Bryan's place and fell in love with it just from the pictures. When we got there it was everything we thought it would be and so much more!!! The loft was perfect! Bryan had a bottle of wine and box of chocolates waiting for us in celebration of our wedding.
The kitchen was great! We were able to cook breakfast each morning and made a couple meals for dinner- not something we could have done in a hotel! More than once during our stay we said to each other how perfect the loft was and how we couldn't imagine honeymooning in a hotel. We were able to relax and not feel like we had to get out of the "room" like you would at a hotel.
Public transportation was close by and made exploring Chicago extremely easy. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homey, relaxing getaway! We are hoping to go back!!! :)
