We loved the loft! What an amazing Venice experience.. We cruised on the bikes through the neighbourhoods- Abott Kinney, Lincoln ave, venice boardwalk and to Santa Monica.
The loft was perfect- great place to chill out in. Sean was the perfect host, we had our own space to take in the Venice vibes. Great eateries within ride/walking distance, great space perfect for a couple. Thank you Anne and Sean- amazing !
It is very private and quite. Photos and description are very accurate. Probably not suitable for small kids as the loft access ladder is quite steep. Bed is super comfortable. Really close to the heart of Venice.
I loved staying at Anne and Sean's place, they are very welcoming and nice people, and provided us with anything to make our stay easier. I also love the cute little loft , it has its own patio, entrance and I was able to walk everywhere , its close to everything including grocery stores, the beach, and places to eat. I'm planning to stay there again!
This loft was tiny & adorable; perfect for our quick weekend getaway. They included free bicycles, wifi, Fios TV, & even full kitchen access with our own refrigerator & pantry space too! The bed was super comfy & we loved the industrial bathroom, complete with rain showerhead! Due to the plexiglass walls & ceiling, the space heated up quite a bit in the morning/afternoon & got a little chilly at night. The bed was warm enough so that when my boyfriend & I snuggled up together, we were perfectly fine.
We never met Anne but Sean met us to give us a tour & we just called him when we left.
Each morning/early afternoon when we woke up, there was some man yelling at what seemed to be his son about being lazy & supporting him & being on drugs, although no one yelled back. We weren't sure if that was our host, a neighbor, or a random crazy person outside. He sounded pretty upset, but we didn't personally feel threatened, so paid it no mind. I only think it was our host because the kitchen we had access to was attached to a guesthouse Sean said his son livzed in.
Other than that, our stay was almost perfect. Even my dog liked it! (They're pet friendly. We were going to bring my cat too, initially, which they did approve of in advance.) The loft was adorable, Sean was super friendly, the bed was super comfy, & the atmosphere was quite welcoming, relaxing, & fun! I would definitely stay here again!
the yelling was from the homeless people who had set up camp at the tire store at the corner. All 3 of my sons are blessings to me 1 is a Navy corpsman in back east, 1 Is in the Marines shipping out to Camp Pendleton and the other set to go to UC Irvine My daughter is graduating from Penn this week. I am very sorry for the noise, had you let me know most certainly gone out to stop the noise or called the police. the homeless people have left now so it should be quieter. we are glad you enjoyed your stay and will fix all the things you let us know about . thank you so much again for choosing to stay with us and we hope you will again
Sean made us feel right at home in his loft in Venice Beach. We had a great time making use of the bikes! Thanks so much Anne and Sean.
I love this spot- it's just so perfect and unique- I original booked for one month- and loved it so much that decided to rent out for another full month. The shared kitchen has everything you could want- from Keurig brewer to your own shelves and Sean and Erin are always making wonderful meals. They are so generous and accommodating. I wish I could stay for the rest of the summer- but unfortunately others caught on to this unique space. When you leave the doors open during the day or windows open at night you'll experience a great breeze and sounds of trickling waterfalls in the garden. The washing (website hidden) really nice new HE front loading machines right outside of your "room" (more of an apartment) They were so accommodating that they even purchased a great full bed to allow my friend and I to share a bed. There are two nice quality blow up mattresses and a nice blue ray system that has complexity Netflix and you can sign into you Amazon prime and Hulu accounts if you are a member. They have afforded me the privacy I needed and were also happy for a great genuine chat. They are solid, honest people. Did I mention the free bikes have been amazing as well as great restaurants and rite aid and Ralph's nearly right across the street. A walk to the beach is fantastic but the bike down and over to Santa Monica is soooo short and beautiful. Anything asked for was quickly addressed make sure to check out taco love restaurant. Thanks so much Anne & Sean- you're fabulous hosts.
We described it in our last review. Awesome, private. The ladder is a little steep.. Yet this place feels like home. Perfect place to stay during my training. Near to transport and shops.
