About landlord: I am Lene, a 34-year woman, who live with my small baby daughter of 10 months. I work as a communication consultant doing e.g. fundraising for NGO’s. I know Copenhagen very well and use the city a lot, so I can tell you about the new and trendy places for both children and adults. I am very straightforward, have both feet on the ground and speak many different languages (Danish, English, Spanish and German). I will be very happy to welcome you to my home and city.
No smoking in the apartment - there is a terasse or a yard for smoking.
Before leaving, the guests are expected to clean the kitchen and leave the apt in a decent condition. Cleaning fee is small and only used for laundry and preparation for the coming guests. If you require full cleaning service, tell me and I will charge some extra in advance.
Leaving a good review in case you liked everything is a must.
Not leaving a review but providing personal feedback in case there was anything you didn't like is a courtesy to the host :) We can privately arrange recompensation in this case. Although, I hope to provide true impression to avoid disappointments.
Lene was the most engaging host we have had on airbnb. She was friendly and always responded quickly to questions and communications. We stayed very comfortably in her home. The apartment is around the corner from the 5A bus stop - this bus runs every 4 minutes and takes you basically everywhere in the city. The location is therefore extremely convenient.

Lene was abroad when we visited, but she left us a video explaining the basics of living in her apartment. The apartment is an 8 minute walk to the nearest subway, and than only two stops to the city center. Other guests mentioned walking to the center but we found this too long of a walk (at least 30 minutes) We brought our bikes, which we would recommend. The beach is just a short ride away (aprox. 10 min) and lovely. Nice to go to during the day but also for a after dinner stroll. There are two supermarkets just around the corner. The only down side was that the apartment was not as clean as we would have liked to. Reading the previous reviews this was probably an incident as other guests didn't say anything about that. As mentioned Lene was abroad and wasn't there to clean it herself, we were able to contact her easily and she was very kind en apologized and gave us a small refund. I'm sure this won't happen again. All in all we had a good holiday in Copenhagen.
Lovely apartment, convenient location near shops and restaurants and very short busride to the center. Lene is a very kind and welcoming host and we wouldn't hesitate to return if we visit copenhagen again. Thanks Lene!
Lene was a delightful hostess. The apartment met our needs and we were four happy guests.
Lene´s appartement was perfect for us. We found enough space for four people what means two bedrooms for two persons each and a spacious livingroom, good equipment and it was very calm. Bus, subway and shopping facilities are within easy reach, only a few minutes to walk. It is also possible to walk to the citycenter in about 25 minutes. We traveled by car an it was absolutely no problem to find free parking spaces in the neighbourhood. We definitely recommend Lene´s appartement. She is a very kind person.

About the Host, Lene
