I designed and built this custom shipping container getaway for you to have a unique place to stay, relax and enjoy yourself in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains. This is as close to nature as you can get (without having to go into it, lol). Nestled in a secluded spot minutes away from wineries, tons of outdoor activities and downtown Dahlonega, you'll have something to do for your entire stay! So come relax by the fire pit, in the hot tub, or somewhere on the 1000+ sq. ft. decks.
The space
Llama House Dahlonega is a custom built 320 sq. ft. 1 bed 1 bath shipping container getaway in the foot hills of the North Georgia mountains. You'll get to relax in the hot tub, lay out on the 1000+ sq. ft. deck, enjoy the fire pit, or hang out inside and get comfy in our king size bed or pull out sofa. Located in the middle of wine country you'll get to enjoy over 15 wineries within 10 miles of our property. Downtown Dahlonega is only 7 miles away with shopping, restaurants and entertainment for every night of the week. And If you're coming for activities, you'll have access to hiking, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, making your own wine or even exploring Dahlonega's gold mines! Pease Note:
1. I'm excited for you to enjoy your time at the container, please remember that a lot of time and effort went into building this property. Please treat Llama House with respect and care.
2. Pet Policy: **This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note: if we find an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and charged an additional Non-Refundable fee of $400.
3. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $200.00 / per day.
4. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.
5. While you may never see them, we do have neighbors that live in the surrounding wooded areas. Please respect them and do not go beyond our property lines which are clearly marked with reflective orange property markers.
6. Do not block the driveway at any time.
7. You are in the woods and there is wildlife here. Do not try and pet or feed any wild animals on the property. Those animals could include but are not limited to squirrels, birds, raccoon, turkey, fox, deer, bear, and more. There are also insects and smaller animals such as ants/snakes/spiders/bees that could bite or sting you. Please be aware of your surroundings at all times and be mindful that you are in their habitat.
8. For your safety and the safety of our property please do not climb or walk on the rocks surrounding the container or the fire pit area. Aside from aesthetics, the rocks are there for water mitigation during storms. Disrupting them or moving them could cause erosion that's harmful to the property.

I personally designed and built Llama House Dahlonega to give people a getaway to remember. I pulled inspiration from all my favorite container builds, consulted with a lot of people in the container world and spent an entire year completing it and getting it ready for your stay.
I wanted people to be able to have a unique place to stay, enjoy the outdoors and explore this picturesque little town and all the amazing things it has to offer. I love this property and the time I've spent building it for you and I think you will fall in love with it as well.
