Quiet lakefront family retreat with swings for all ages and hammocks overlooking a gorgeous 90-acre lake. Enjoy kayaking, 2 small fishing boats with paddles, a golf cart, bikes, and multiple outdoor cooking options — the perfect place to relax and unwind. Designed for tranquility and connection, this peaceful getaway offers unforgettable moments. Electric motors only keep the lake calm and quiet, ideal for kayaking, fishing, swimming, or simply drifting. Second separate unit available upstairs.
The space
Your Serene Lakefront Getaway on a quiet 90 acre lake less than an hour from Gulf Coast.
The cozy lakefront suite is perfect for a couple, featuring a king-sized bed and private bathroom. Enjoy in-room amenities including a coffee maker and hot water kettle.
The second bedroom is ideal for families or groups, offering a full-sized bunk with a single bed on top, plus a trundle bed (slightly smaller than a single). This room also has a comfortable living area, dining space, and a small kitchenette with apartment-size refrigerator, microwave, small convection oven, hot plate and washer and dryer for your convenience.
Step outside to multiple grilling options, including a fire pit with a grill top and plenty of wood for cooking or just relaxing, as well as a charcoal grill.
Unwind with loved ones at this peaceful lakefront oasis. Start your mornings fishing along the shore or from the private pier by the boat ramp, then cook your fresh catch on the pellet grill. Spend the day kayaking on calm waters (kayak included) or relaxing in the hammock. As evening falls, gather around the fire pit (plenty of wood available) or dine waterfront, while taking in stunning lake views. Don’t forget to explore the picturesque surroundings with a ride on the golf cart.
Lake Safety:
Our lakefront setting is peaceful and beautiful, but please use caution around the water. There is no lifeguard on duty, and all lake activities are at your own risk. Children should be supervised at all times. Life jackets are recommended, especially for children and non-swimmers. There are sudden drop offs, even in the swimming area, so please use good judgment during your stay.
Pontoon boat is available for your use if you’d like to enjoy even more of the lake during your stay. Life jackets are required for all children while on the boat. We have several available for guest use, or you’re welcome to bring your own to ensure the best fit.
Potential for noise:
Because we care for and continually improve the property, we occasionally do yard work or small projects during the day. We try to do this when guests are away and keep everything as quiet as possible. If anything disturbs your relaxation, just let us know and we’ll gladly adjust.y

These two bedrooms are at the right end of my newly renovated home but are locked off from the rest of the house. You will have a private keypad entrance on the front porch and the lakeside deck. You will share the lakeside yard with an upstairs Airbnb apartment & the host. You may park under the carport and if you have extra vehicles, they can park across the street.
There is a small closet on the Lake side of the house with a green door that has some life jackets, fishing equipment, corn hole, and bucket golf set for your use.

Other things to note
Enjoy the peacefulness being off the beaten track as we are 15 minutes from Perkinston and McHenry and 25 minutes from both Wiggins and Poplarville. We are also about an hour from the beach at Bay St Louis, Gulfport, & Biloxi. On arrival day, it may be helpful to get food for your dinner before you come if you arrive late in the afternoon or evening. However, we do have the convenience of Walmart delivery to the door and an apartment size refrigerator/freezer for groceries for your stay.
