Easy to find, plenty of street parking, great host: gave us lots of information and even texted me the GPS coordinates of where we wanted to go. We reserved for 3 people, but there was only one bed, so, my husband needed to sleep on the living room sofa. The bedroom is actually the host's walk-in closet, with his shirts and clothes hanging and over 20 pairs of shoes on open shelves (was awkward sleeping there). Small kitchen, no dining room. He did clear out a room on a tiny fold out table for my son to put his cerial bowl on.
We checked in late in the evening so we didn't spend a lot of time with Roberto. By the way he was welcomy. Small place but we found everything we needed.
Roberto was really friendly, we slept two days in is house and the room was pretty clean! He propose to eat some Mofongo on a boardwalk, it was so good! A nice experience in Ponce :)
Roberto has been a very nice host: he brought us to eat the best Mofongo I had in Puerto Rico and advised us very well about where to go and what to visit. The room is very basic and the place could have been tidier and cleaner from my point of view... But it was alright! Although don't forget your earplugs as there are a lot of dogs barking some times around. Still for this price, you can go for it!
My stay in Ponce was very interesting. Roberto is a very nice young man and a great host. He had great suggestions of where to visit and also what areas to stay away from. He was very knowledgeable of the area but also of Ponce's history. The room was pretty simple, just a bed to sleep at night and the bathroom to wash up in the morning. The roosters get started REALLY early in the morning. If you're on a budget I think this is a great place to stay in.
I got a quick answer from Roberto and everything was set. The instructions to his place were spot on and he was rather flexible with arrival. He knows the area around, so that is good, only con is that if your taller than 6 feet, the bed starts to get short for you. A great place when you are travelling on budget!
Robert was a great host. He took time to socialize with us upon our arrival and recommended some local restaurants. The room is clean and simple. The location is great, just a short drive to the beach or downtown Ponce. The neighbor has dogs that can be loud at times. I would recommend this airbnb stay to a friend.
