Ideally located in the Diniwid valley just just north of the main beach, White Beach, Apoy Villa is only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Diniwid Beach and a 20 minute beach walk to the action on White Beach.
Standing majestically on top of a hill, the PULANG LUPA enclave is one of Boracay’s well-kept secrets. Along with a few other designer tropical homes, the two storey two bedroom villa in the Balinese temple style , APOY ( Fire ), is surrounded by lush landscaped gardens with flowering trees. This residence epitomizes the true island lifestyle. The roof is of cogon grass and the terra-cotta tiled ground floor features a spacious living area and a six-seater solid mahogany bar, adjacent to the fully equipped compact kitchen, that enables guests to enjoy their own Happy Hour under the ceiling fans while lounging in the giant bamboo sofas and chaise louge. The wrap-around glass sliding doors allow the constant flow of the cooling breezes and leads out to the round garden gazebo, furnished with a long picnic table for ten, built in cushioned garden seats, central barbecue pit and a side bar.
The master bedroom in the upper storey boasts of a solid wooden floor and a king size four-poster canopied bamboo bed. The long balcony affords views of the gardens, the picnic gazebo and the unspoiled Diniwid hilltops. The spacious marble bathroom contains a sunken bathtub, bidet and an outdoor shower in a secret garden. Next to the downstairs living area is a twin bedroom with en suite marble toilet and shower. The décor throughout has the unmistakable touch of the Orient.

Interaction with Guests
I assist the owner of Apoy Villa in handling all bookings. The owner lives in Taipei and I live in Boracay, and I may be contacted through the airbnb listing. Check-in/out and all on-site enquiries are handled by the housekeeper.
Apoy villa is located in the Diniwid area just north of the main beach, White Beach. Diniwid Beach is beautiful small beach the is much more secluded than White Beach. The villa is only a 5 minute walk from Diniwid Beach and a 20 minute beach walk to White Beach. It offers a tranquil retreat that is also near the action of White Beach
Most private vehicles are not allowed on the island. Public transportation consisted of "tricycle" that can best be described as a motorcycle with a large side car. New, larger electric mini buses (a distinctive green color) are gradually being introduced.
Other Things to Note
1. Airport transfers are not provided by the villa. Buses and vans operate between Kalibo Airport and Caticlan Jetty Port. Tricycles operate from Caticlan Airport to the jetty port. Should you require a private van from either airport, you may rent one by contacting (website hidden).
*Arrival and departure times must be provided to the owner at time of booking. Requests for early check-ins and late check-outs must receive pre-approval from the owner.
*The villa is equipped with emergency lights. Should you light candles and oil lamps be extra careful because your residence features a grass and bamboo roof. Take a flashlight with you at night as the beach and roads are not well lit.
*Environmental protection is everyone’s concern. Help us protect the island by segregating trash into four containers-plastics, tins, glass, biodegradable. Our staff will collect your garbage everyday.

Any loss or damage to the property shall be charged to the security deposit. Please refrain from removing any household item from the premises, including bath towels.

The house looks very good just like the pics showing. We really enjoyed the big living room and the nice kitchen. But,the two bath rooms are so old.The shower heads are very dirty, and the water is so small.Because they really got lots of years. They should be (website hidden):the house keeper was very nice and kind.
We had a great time and the rest in this villa. Much like it, but there were times that you need to say.
Write honestly as it is.
Very hard to find this villa, the local do not know what Pulang Lupa. More precisely do not know. Sign tiny, it is not visible. We pretty nervous until found and contacted the owner. The description should clearly indicate the house number on this road, entrance opposite the house 952. The villa is very ancient, creaking and everything smells like the 15th century. Be prepared to live with ants, lizards and mouse. Many times the electricity was turned off (from the old machine was broken), but we have learned to turn it on. Internet is not very good, catching only a couple of places. Local dog every day went to the toilet in front of our entrance, but the gardener regularly cleaned it all.
Of the benefits - very roomy as on the first floor and the second is just great. You can live a large family, all the place will suffice. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Around tropical greenery pleases the eye. Aisa - housekeepers - cleaned every day and helped us to the first request, thank her very much. Beach a five-minute walk, and the center can be reached by Tricycle, 10 minutes. Very convenient. The villa is located in a quiet area, walking at night was perfectly safe, but it is better to have a flashlight, as it is necessary to climb the stairs.
Sorry for my English.
Will definitely return to Boracay.
very nice, especially the upper floor with the 360 view, too bad that on the upper balcony, furniture is completely missing.
