This is a pretty safe and nice area of the city. Strolling around the colorful neighborhood is a pleasure as well. The house is located in the middle of glen park, mission and bernal height. Walking distance to many unique shops and restaurants.
The village of Glen Park is a thriving neighborhood, with great neighborhood restaurants like NYTimes reviewed Gialina pizzeria, Manzoni (Italian), Le P'tit Laurent (French Bistro w/3 course neighborhood menu), La Corneta taqueria, Chenery Park fine dining, Higher Grounds creperie, and Tyger's neighborhood coffee shop. The Cheese Boutique, Destination Bakery, and Canyon Market have all your other food needs covered!
Bird'n'Beckett bookstore carries new and used titles and has live jazz/folk on weekends. Coffee spots abound, with not a chain in sight. Stay in Glen Park and support hyperlocal merchants as prep for your day exploring this great city.
SF is a relatively small city, you can get to most tourist attraction sites via public transportation within an hour. We can provide a car to drop off by the SFO at a reasonable price $30 ( for most of the time depending our schedule)

The room is available if you can book it through airbnb site. This is a family home, so there will be some noise. My husband works from home. I work a late hour shift so I stayed up pretty late at night but We will keep the noise down if you sleep early. My brother wilson is a college student who also lives with us and he stays in his room most of the time. you might also see my mom during the weekends. Checking in late is not a problem for us at all. This is a no pet or smoking place. Smoking has to be taken outside of the house. Street parking is free but it could be difficult to find a parking spot after 6pm.

We had a wonderful time at Leslie and Gio's place. The room is pretty and big with a private bathroom, kitchen for shared use. Everything was clean and we felt very well in their house. The area of Glen Park is very well located close to the Mission district. BART and MUNI are just around the corner to take you anywhere you want.
We didn't see much of our hosts. The room was quiet and very clean. Location was perfect to catch the muni bus and we parked our car for free right in front of the house. I would defiantly stay there again.

the room is super clean and spacious. You have your own large bathroom. Leslie and Gio are very friendly, as well as Leslie's mom who actually came by and opened the door for me on the first day. I left a watch there and they tried to send it back to me without me paying for the postage. On the second night, Leslie and Gio also invited me to a club with them. So bad that I only stayed there for two days. I would defi go back to their place if I visited SF again!
Leslie & Gio were amazing hosts!! I really enjoyed staying there. Also, I've liked the neighboorhoud . It allow you to see a part of the city that is not touristic and really feel what San Francisco is. The room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. And little extra, lemon tree in the backyard!
My partner and I stayed here for one night, and it was great! Leslie and Gio were very flexible with our timing on both ends (check-in/check-out). They were friendly and communicative but also gave us our space. The room was very clean, and it was nice to have a private bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well. Also, the price was very reasonable compared to others in the same area. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better Airbnb, and we highly recommend it.
Leslie and Gio are extremely kind and welcoming! They cook often and would always offer me some. The room is very nice and the connecting bathroom is very convenient. The view out by the back yard is gorgeous. And the Glen Park Bart station is around a 10 minute walk.
Leslie and Gio have been great hosts! Stayin with them has been my best airbnb experience so far.
My room and bathroom were nice and clean, the house had a little balcony with a beautiful view to part of the picturesque city and the location was great - the bus and subway stations were very close.
I only had a few days to explore San Francisco and my hosts were very helpful and came up with suggestions as to how to get to places and what was worth visiting. They are lovely people and it was great chatting with them about SF and about life in general.
I definitely recommend their place and would be happy to return any time if I get the chance to visit California again.
I enjoyed my stay at Leslie and Gio's place. I was in a perfectly-sized, clean room in a very nice house (Lemon trees in the backyard!). The house is one block away from great places to eat, especially if you're into pupusas. I met Leslie and she was very accommodating. I woke up one morning to the smell of walnut-raisin-cinnamon bread. Yum. I would stay here again.
All was ok as we expected.
Even when we found out we made a mistake with the booking, there was no problem to get the extra night refunded.
A nice place to stay. Reasonably connected to San Fransisco downtown and very close to BART.
