Cars and parking in our neighborhood:
This is a city, and there is street parking with time limits, parking a car without a permit in the evening can be done. Our guests that have had a car have felt that it was pretty easy to find parking after a full day of touring. You may have to walk a couple of blocks but it is hit or miss.
More on cars:
If you have a car and don't want to use it during those times(8-4), there is public parking in the neighborhood (website) or you will have to move it during the day or be lucky to find a spot that does not ticket. It is do-able, but you have to be more motivated than the ticket enforcers. Do not leave anything visible in your car. Anywhere in the city.

Linda was very flexible with our late arrival and getting the key super easy, The apartment is exactly as shown in photos, great neighbourhood and close to many transport options, We would recommend it to travellers who are tired of staying in the city!,
This has definitely been one of my favourite Airbnb stays. From first contact, Linda was exceptionally helpful and responsive. When I arrived from a long haul flight, Reg called in with a lovely welcome gift and we spent some time chatting and he filled me in on the area and things to do. The apartment is lovely, homely and perfect for one or two people. Lovely white linen on the bed, lots of towels and toiletries provided. I would definitely stay here again :-)
Great place! I was very satisfied with my stay here. It was very clean, and the location was close to many bars, restaurants, and convenient stores. We were welcomed with snacks and since we were arriving late they kept the lights on for us. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay a night short but Linda offered a free night if I ever stay again!!Would definitely recommend staying here if you visit San franscisco!
Linda's listing was a true home away from home. I was greeting with croissants and brie! There is no better warmer welcome in my book, lol. The space is absolutely adorable and has tons of classic charm. High ceilings, large windows and a claw foot tub are just some of the great things I love about the space.
Linda was incredibly communicative from the start. She provided me with many local recommendations. I will definitely be back!
The area is amazing! You will be in the heart of the Castro. A very quick walk to Dolores Park and the Mission. The only disappointing part of my visit was having to leave.
Thank you Linda!
We stayed in Linda's Castro apartment for 7 days and couldn't have felt more at home! The accommodation was exactly as described and is in the perfect location for exploring the neighbourhood. It is close to so many means of transport to easily get around San Francisco.
Linda provided us with lots of info on the area and some much needed refreshments on our arrival.
Would definitely stay here again and hopefully that will not be too far away!
