WELCOME to "The Gait House" at High Gait Farm. Conveniently located only fifteen minutes from the Yale Campus in New Haven and next door to the Connecticut SportsPlex or take the train into NYC.
"The Gait House" can comfortably sleep 6 people. It’s a fully renovated 1840's Farm House. It was once a horse training/boarding farm, however no longer has animals. Feel free to wander the 4.7 acres and peek in the hundred year old barn and get a glimpse of a time gone past. ENJOY YOUR STAY!

The space
I'm proud of the renovation that I did to this charming home. I hope you're comfortable and enjoy your stay. This is my personal home, however, will be nearby if you need anything. You have the use of the full house, porches and yard. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE HOME! PETS are welcome with a non-refundable Pet deposit per animal. I will leave light refreshments for your use.

Other things to note
I’ve been slowly remodeling the yellow cottage into two additional rental units. The workshop/barn on the left, into a meeting place. Please excuse the construction mess. There may be some days that my contractors will be working, but they will be far enough from the home, they won’t be in your space.
