Kathleen and Paul have a lovely semi-basement suite right next to the beautiful gorge. My friends and I had a wonderful time there, and enjoyed being in a quiet neighbourhood but easily accessible to buses to take us downtown. Everything in the apartment was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the kitchenette made it easy for us to cook up a nice breakfast. We had a fantastic stay, thank you!
Kathleen and Paul were great hosts! Very friendly and kind. We greatly appreciated the complementary fruit/juice/coffee, what a nice touch. The place was exactly what we needed for our weekend in Victoria.
Kathleen and Paul were wonderful! They were so accommodating with our schedule. The house was beautiful, well kept and clean. It is in a nice part of town near the gorge and a lovely walk. I would stay there again and highly recommend them!
A friend and I had a wonderful stay at Paul and Kathleen's. We stayed for two nights, while we explored Victoria and the surrounds. The suite was a great size, very well equipped, clean and warm- as per description and photos.
Paul and Kathleen were great hosts, very flexible and accommodating, which made our stay extra enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the suite to friends and stay again if I returned to the island.
Clean and spacious apartment, very well equipped with everything we needed. It made for a very comfortable stay while visiting family for Christmas. Would highly recommend Kathleen and Paul's apartment.
Kathleen and Paul were very inviting and even offered to carry in bags :) Space was well equipped, spacious, clean and very welcoming. Comfortable beds and all that we need for a restful night.
We had a great time during our 4 nights in this basement suite. The suite was quite bright and roomy, more than what I thought. The beds were super comfy and we were able to borrow their playpen for our baby. The suite was relatively baby-proofed already, which was nice. It was also very clean and nicely furnished/decorated. The house/neighbourhood was very quiet, which was perfect after a day of sightseeing. The location was so nice, walking distance to parks and playgrounds on the Gorge waterway, and a short drive/bus ride downtown. Kathleen and Paul were welcoming and answered all our questions.
Kathleen retired from management in the provincial government. Paul is a technician. We love to travel, including cruising, and meeting new people. Last couple of years we visited Germany, California, Texas, Alaska, Ontario, Quebec and the Mediterranean. We enjoy walking, hiking and gardening, Paul's passion is photography and he volunteers for emergency management. Last year we had to put down our beloved dog and now have two cats, "inherited" from our daughter.
