Just 4 minutes from I-44 and Mercy Hospital, and close to KCU, Freeman Hospital, and South Joplin attractions.

The space
CEDAR SHOAL CREEK COTTAGE. Escape to this cozy cottage, perfectly nestled with walking trails on Shoal Creek. Private water creek side campsite area with a sandbox, tree swing, and more. Recommended to wear life jackets and underaged children must be accompanied by an adult. Playground area and backsetball hoop. Located less than 5 miles from historic Route 66. Seeking a peaceful retreat or a productive remote working, this cottage offers a serene setting with all the modern amenities. The home has a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen; ideal for short or extended stays.

1. No Pool Access: Please note that there is no access to a pool on the property.

2. No Smoking, Vaping, and drugs in the cottage or on property.

3. Hunting Prohibited: Hunting is strictly prohibited on the property.

4. Fishing: Recommended to wear life jackets and underaged children must be accompanied by an adult. The main part of shoal creek will be regulated via Missouri Conservation fishing permits.

5. Walking Trails
Closed during Hunting Season for Safety: September 5--January 16, 2025.
Please walk thru the gate at the bottom of the hill, between the two cattle pastures. You can reference the orange cones on the post. Next, make sure to lock all gates behind you. If the gate is opened when you arrive, then you can leave it open. The walking trails are direct down the lane and you will notice the mowed paths.

6. Please note that off-road vehicles are not permitted on the property. This includes, but is not limited to:

ATVs (All-Terrain Vehicles)
Dirt Bikes
Quad Bikes
UTVs (Utility Task Vehicles)
Dune Buggies
Sand Rails
Motorized Scooters (used off-road)
Vehicles

7. Kayaking: Please see Tipton Ford as the closest boat launch.

8. Playground: Guest may use the playground area and must accompany children at play.

9. NO gatherings or parties permitted.

10. NO Pets allowed.

11. NOT Baby friendly, we do not have a crib.

12. Utilities: All Electric with well water.
