The space

An easy-to-love spacious studio under the rooftop of an old townhouse with a lovely common courtyard, one block away from the Danube, on the green and hilly Buda side of town, yet centrally located.

With direct lines to Sziget festival, jewish quarter, all the spas (with 1 exception), the royal Castle, and many more.

Important note: from 5-20 August 2016, the minimum possible stay is 1 week.

Spacious living room with a sofa and usually a lot of vintage armchairs and furniture, a red kitchen all equipped, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a double mattress on the mezzanine.
The sofa will sleep one person if necessary, but not comfortable for longer stays.

The area is excellent, centrally located, on the main boulevard at Margaret bridge, on the Buda side, right next to the river.
Everything is right around or in easy reach.

In less than 5 minutes you'll find yourself
° on the main tramline (4-6) wich operates 24/7 and goes around downtown
° on the suburban train that goes to Szentendre and SZIGET festival
° on tram #2, which is the ultimate sightseeing line
° on Margaret Island,
° @ Gül baba's tomb with a spectacular view on the city,
° on the riverside, with a perfect view on the Parliament,
° in at least 3 thermal baths (Lukacs, Veli bei, Kiraly)
° (open air) swimming pools
° (open air) cinemas, theatres
° @ Szendzso & Bambi, the best local breakfast places in town,
° and many more..

In less than 10 minutes you are

° @ the Parliament,
° in the Royal castle,
° on Oktogon, Andrássy bld, Kiraly st, Liszt Ferenc square and all the shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife of Budapest,
° on Metro lines 1, 2 & (Website hidden by Airbnb) in 15 minutes
° you are anywhere.

Please note, that due to the central location, it's not 100 % quiet. You can slightly hear the city during the day.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information or if you have special requests. I'll be more than happy to make your decision and stay easy and comfortable.

Judit is a friendly and knowledgeable host. The apartment is well located close to numerous bus and tram lines and is a great base to explore the city from. Bring your walking shoes and remember that "loft" also means "stairs"... But those are good for working off the deliciously…
