Experience NY through Brooklyn's eyes! Our Park Slope prime location 1 bedroom apartment offers a comfortable and convenient stay, close to shopping, restaurants, subways, bars and more.
Our apartment is fully-equipped and furnished for you to have a relaxing and carefree stay during your trip to NYC. The apartment is on the first floor of a walk-up building with easy access (i.e. no stairs!) and has private entrance to a large backyard garden with a patio, barbecue, two hammocks, and a picnic table where you can hang out and truly feel like you’re away from the city under the hanging night lights. We also grow delicious vegetables in the backyard, which of course you are free to pluck and eat.
The apartment boasts really high 10 ft. ceilings, a large well-equipped kitchen, a bistro breakfast table, and a comfortable dining room to sit and and enjoy your meals. Separated by a french door, the second half of the apartment includes a living room area with a futon couch that sleeps 2 (not a private space), and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed.
Expect your stay to include 100% cotton bed linens and bath towels, internet access, and a/c. All you'll need is a change of clothes, toiletries, and personal items.
Our 1 Bedroom apartment is right smack in the heart of “prime” Park Slope; located on Union Street between 4th & 5th Avenue. We are steps away from lively 5th & 7th avenues which offer top-rated restaurants, fantastic bars, unique coffee-shops and an eclectic mix of artisan boutique stores. After a day of shopping, head over to Prospect Park where you will find the 2nd largest park in NYC, architectured by Frederick Olmsted who also designed Central Park. We think it's far better, but maybe we are a bit biased ;) Between the farmer’s markets and free live concerts all summer, you’ll find plenty to do in Prospect Park from bike riding, jogging, picnics, and more.
We are located is on the same block as the subway (R train), which brings you to Manhattan within 20 minutes. Getting to Atlantic Terminal is only a 10 minute walk which has every subway line connection needed to get anywhere within NYC and surrounding boroughs. Free street parking as well for those traveling with a car.
Groceries, corner stores, and wine & spirits stores are all within 1 block of the apartment so you can easily stock up during your stay.

Tom was very nice and easy to communicate by mail.
The appartment is really well placed in Brooklyn! It's near the 5th Avenue (plenty of restaurants, bars and shops).
The appartment was a little bit small for us because we were 4 adults and a baby, but it was ok anyway. Warm and calm.
I think that if we had been there in spring or summer it would have been great to go into the garden so I would absolutely recommend it!
We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It is perfectly situated in Park Slope, near major subway connections, a nice little supermarket, and tons of good restaurants and bars.
The apartment itself is really charming. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and lots of the fun quirks that come along with an old building. I loved crawling out the window to sit in the garden after a long day exploring the city. We only had one problem during our stay, and Tom was incredibly responsive to help us get it fixed. These are excellent hosts!
My first visit to NYC was made all the more special by our kind , considerate hosts allowing us to rent their lovely Brooklyn home in a very special neighbourhood, Park Slope.
Communication with Tom and Jackie was easy and the apartment is very conveniently placed near the subway.
The vegetable garden provided a welcome retreat from the hectic pace of the city and there's even a semi tame black sqirrel that comes to visit!!
The bed is super comfortable and high quality bedding and towels provided.
They even left fresh milk for us to have a cup of tea on arrival (essential for British guests!) ;-)
We would absolutely recommend them to other Air BNB guests and we hope to return next year as we enjoyed ourselves so much, hopefully they will allow us to stay again!
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This was our first time booking with Airbnb and Jackie and Tom were very helpful and their apartment was great. Fantastic location, relatively easy to park and my son loved the garden and hammock out back. Great place to stay in Park Slope.
Jackie and Tom have a very clean, charming and conveniently located apartment in Park Slope. They were easy to coordinate with and were very considerate hosts.
A great place to stay in Park Slope -- the subway is half a block a way, and there's a great bagel place right on the corner. Jackie kindly met us when we arrived and showed us around the place, which was hugely helpful. Very comfy bed and pull-out futons, high-quality sheets and towels, and we even found parking on the street with little difficulty. The AC kept the place nice and cool even in the midst of a pretty serious heat wave.
